Probably get a lot of slack on this comment, but as an old mechanic it pleasing to see a young man not have to put on a pair of latex gloves to change the oil. As a bonus loved the carburetor cleaner hand cleaner. Nice job on the videos. Giving me more confidence on the CF product.
I just bought a slightly used 2022 CFMoto 600 yesterday. First quad and I’m a bit overwhelmed but I’m glad I can see your video and reference so when I’ve broken it in a bit, I can keep it clean and running healthy for as long as possible. Thanks for the vid!
dude you Rock, you don't have to do this. this is why I don't mind spending the extra money with the ppl you represent and support your channel thanks again.
Love all your videos great video on servicing the 2021 800 xc. On the rear DIff. the Canadian model comes with a dipstick to check oil level in your tool kit. You only put in 400 ml (13.5 oz) in DIff. You insert dipstick fully into hole and level should be between upper and lower marks. If you over fill could leak out vent tube or cause rear DIff. axle seals to leak. Normally I would fill to bottom of fill hole. When I was checking mine for first time I thought it was low. I found the information on page 120 in owners manual under maintenance. I don’t know if the US model is the same. Just thought I’d let you know before anybody has seal and vent tube leaks. I think I’m still gonna fill up to the bottom of the fill hole and we’ll see if it leaks out the vent. Pretty sure the seals won’t fail. And more oil not less it’s better for cooling.
I actually do this for a living also I work at cycle Marine in Arkansas. It neat too watch these videos for me because I even learn from them even tho I do this everyday also. I never thought of picking up the unit with our fork truck definitely leaned easier ways too service our units!
OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(vi) states, “The employer shall require that the operator avoid carrying loads over people.” This is required to protect people from the hazard of a falling load due to inadvertent failure of the crane mechanism or operator error. Because it's against OSHA. No-one should ever be under a suspended load of a forklift.
Awesome video. I absolutely hate how hard it is to get that air filter box on. I haven't figured out yet how to get my hand in that space to easily snap those clips.
Really helpful video. I wasn't 100% if the dipsticks needed to be threaded in or left out to get an accurate fluid level. With the oil it's a difference of half, screwed all the way in it looks full and out it looks only half full. My 800 is brand new and when I slam on the breaks I get a beep from the oil pressure sensor. I'll have to top the oil off. Hopefully I won't get that beep any more.
Great video. Makes me think I actually can do this myself. Any chance you guys could make a video on checking/adjusting the valves on the 800? I am a little apprehensive cause I dont know what needs to come off the machine to access the valves 🥴
Nice job on the video! Really appreciate you doing these videos for us! I love being able to do my own maintenance on my 800 zforce and cforce 600 touring.. Keep up the great videos! Thanks again
Thanks! Been drewling over these Cryptids for months now but a bit scared they are hell on asfalt since here in Germany offroad riding is illegal. So we have to ride long stretches over asfalt to get to the offroad parts where cops can’t come easily.
Love your videos! All the info you need is in there I was in the process of texting how often do we need to change transmission fluid and it came on the video during my question. Thanks again
Great video! I'm getting ready to purchase a 600 Touring. This was a perfect video for DIY people like myself. Just one suggestion if i may. The young man Joel might want to wear gloves in the furture. All the chemicals are absorbed through your skin into your body. When you get older you will have a much higher chance of cancer. Just a suggestion from one mechanic to another.
Great video. Just picked up a 2021 Cforce 800Xc. first ride around the area was nice for the break in. a few more of those and cant wait to let her rip..
You are the reason I bought a cforce 800 2 months ago. Why did you remove your fender flares? I know why the baffle is gone, mine is too :) Love the videos, Thanks.
Love your videos. Im gonna buy my first ATV in a couple of days thanks to you actually. I have been watching your videos and you are awesome. I have one question, Is It the same procedure on a cfmoto cforce 850xc?
That Engine is a same has a can am but it's turned around. Look forward to see what the price is on the 1000 with 79 HP ,I know that the 800 is $8,599. But right now I'm thinking about making my Sportsman XP 1000 about 7in longer so it would have a 60in wheelbase, I ready have the steel , equipment and the plans but don't know what time to start because I ride all year round.
Love your videos! I really apricate the content you're putting out. Such good stuff. I now own 3 CFMotos, two 2020 600 touring and one 2021 800. Love them! Will that one liter bottle of gear oil fill both the front and rear gear cases?
I love your channel and I have a question. I just bought a 2021 CFORCE 400s and this machine is a billy goat . I had a Polaris 700 and like my 400 more and it is the same weight but my question is I bought from Tractor supply a 2500 atv winch but I can find a place to mount the regulator box any where .Do I need this or can I use what is already in the machine and if so where would it be . Thank you Rene Martel and God bless brother.
If you need to splice tome wire to extend it to where you can mount the regulator somewhere then id do that.. but i am not familiar with the winch setups that Tractor supply sells..
Love your videos very helpful. I'm having a problem shifting my 2020 cforce 600 touring. It happens mostly when the pressure on the drive train like trying to go in reverse when your on a hill or vice-versa. Is there a fix for this or 8 do I just live with it. Thanks sal
Hello: Great video. Thank you very much! I think is very useful. I live in Argentina and is difficult here to find help to do that work and to find original replacement parts. I want to ask you, may be you konw , if I can use a Can Am 800 Renegade oil filter to replace de Cfmoto 800s one. Thank you very much again!
great vid, just a question our new cforce 800 2021 model is almost due for 1st oil change service, we like to know has the 800 dry clutch or wet clutch, as there are 2 types of oil the normal and motorbike wet clutch oil
I recommend you running the oil that's in this video for your machines. It is all we use. Great stuff and is 100 percent approved by CFMOTO. Maxima Racing Oil 10w-40 ... All oils will work in a dry clutch setup. and only certain wet clutch specific oils should be ran in the machines with a wet clutch. But your CFORCE ATVS are not wet clutches.
@@RealTalkPowersports Thank you so much i see in the specifications of the oil its wet clutch oil, unfortunately we in Namibia are limited to few oil brands only but similar oil has castrol then i will use that. thanks great channel God Bless
My 2017 cforce 800 has a flashing fuel gage that bounces between full and empty even when the tank is full . As I drive it it will bounce all over and I never know my fuel level without calculating miles driven ÷ by mpg. I also have had a new fuel pump installed in 2020. Have you come across this problem before? A video to fix this would be nice, I'm not the only one with this problem.
Hi guys, why is my dealer telling me that cfmoto says to check oil and trans with it screwed in? Manual says screwed out to check but the dealer says otherwise, and they've always serviced all cfmotos that way. They say cfmoto/other brands changes service techniques often. I agree with that but with regards to fluids I'm not so sure.
Great video, but one thing... why ar you spraying oil/grease on every moving part the only thing thats gonna happen is sand and dirt sticking on the oil/grease....
You guys are amazing! Thinking about changing my Outlander in for a Cforce. Until then though - Any chance you could make the same video for an Outlander Max XT 850?
Got a quick question: At 6:49, What is the black hose with the clear cap end with the 2 clamps right next to the oil dipstick/fill.?? I just recently bought a cf800 and would like to know what this is for. Checking today, it had water in the clear portion....Just wondering...Thank you in advance..

How long after purchasing a new bike should you get a full service and what type of exhaust do you have on your 800 XC and where did you get your snorkel and radiator kit done at
The owners manual is the best thing to follow for service intervals. The more u mud ride, the more often you should service your machine tho. All my stuff was done at Main Street cycle besides the snorkels. They were done in texas.

I torque my wheel lug nuts at service intervals as well. I use WD-40 Dry Lube on all moving components as it doesn’t hold dust & dirt.

They only adjust them if 100 percent necessary.. and normally its like 1 out of 100 that actually needs to be adjusted
Ok I just didn't know the vavle inspection is part of the service you guys do.
