Is this the cheapest electronic market in the world??
In this video, I showed up in Huaqiangbei in Shenzhen, a high tech city in China and shared my experiences and a few things I noticed. I also bought some gadgets and a computer which took just 10mins to set up.

Brother or Friend!
You are so brave to travel in a foreign country knowing you look different, and yet you keep yourself in good spirits and positive thoughts 😊 and not let any worries get to you. I am Asian, but I have traveled in foreign countries and had negative experiences. It made me want to paint the entire picture of that country badly. Yet you don’t do that, and I find that such a role model of positivity. You have a great smile. Wishing you protection and positivity. Thank you for teaching is RESILIENCE and POSITIVITY.

@@Kevin-et6ngbut still he receives many stares from others. Although they mean no harm it can be uncomfortable for him
It has been proven to be safe for Black skin people traveling to China or it's territories . I can't say the same to yellow skin traveling to usa though. They'll be lucky they don't get SHOT let alone mugged in the subways.
i can imagine the stares and ugly looks from some people
Electronics are very accessible in China. I built my pc as well from scratch in Nanjing 3 years ago and it’s still running strong. Keep up the good work
Yessir
I purchased a laptop online 5 year, still running strong,,,
@@FelThommyI am afraid to travel lol but will try it soon

Fel, you’re becoming more expressive in both English and Mandarin. Love your in-depth conversations and insights, and glad to hear you’re moving to Shenzhen.
Thank you 🥂
As a hardware junkie, I think If I have accrued enough good deeds in life this is what the positive afterlife might look like for me. Its like if all the items on Alixpress were expanded and put into a mall. Enchanting video.
Yeah but cheaper and you don't have to wait a month to get it lol
Almost that same feeling I had when I would go to Fry's back in the day
Hey, just offering a sobering reality check. Nothing disturbs me more than a greedy saying like "the afterlife". With all due respect, you have one life to live. Live it the best you can, the world could use one less man.

The boss seems like an honest fellow... prices look extremely reasonable as well. Would love to shop there someday.
China rules the world. Love from Kenya
Thanks so much Fel Thommy, you doing a great job and welcome to Shenzhen once again!
Thank you big bro🥂🥂
Always interesting to see people's videos of China. They're always different and they keep me from getting bored.
Keep up with the good work man. You make things easier for us who are planning to travel there. Looking forward to see alot of videos.
As a tech person this video was extremely entertaining love it guys!!
I tried to learn Twi bc my coworker is from Ghana. You remind me of him a lot. Good intentions and spirits from everyone at work from Ghana.
❤️❤️
11:52 wow, when I was assembling this I had terrible difficulty, I find his skill in assembling the cabinet interesting.
It's normal, you are assembling one in like 3 years or more. He's doing it 10-20 times everyday.
You should totally go out to the eat with that last crew/shop who built your computer. They seemed really cool and im sure you could learn from each other
Don't mind them idiots, never trust thy enemy, as iron rusteth so do all their ways. Smile, joke and keep it moving and most of all be ye separate.
Wow! This is a heaven for geeks! Thank you for the video! :)
My big brother Paul is great at building computers id like to bring him with me to this city
Very cool! I wanna go there one day as well when travelling through China.
Beautiful and amazing to see your visit. I love one thing about chine. Neat and clean markets.
Nice to see this place again. Visit this place in 2012 and wonderful place to shopping for electronis/ computer items.
CHINA IS GOOD [.And What If Fel Thommy End Up Starting His Own Brand Company In China??.]
This video I just discovered now almost made me cry.
This was my job for years back in south Africa, bro you need to make another one, for years I searched a man who could show me how it works in china and today I found... Be blessed!
Visited shenzhen last month. This city surely beats elite cities such as Singapore or New York. Truly a class of it’s own.
I’ve been there twice and there so much to see. If you are looking for computers, electronic gadget this is the place to go. If it’s the largest electronic market in the world? I can’t say buy I can say the place is huge. Fel you should go and check the DJI company. All DJI drones, gadgets are manufactured here in Shenzhen. Well have fun in Shenzhen. Lots of food there for you to try. Take care, cheers!
Cheers🥂
Bro as a tech maniac that place is heaven for me
Wow, Wow, so much tech stuff there, !! Awesome video once again, greetings from Cape Town

Fel has gone high tech! ❤
🥂🥂
Fel your friend has so a great smile man, wish you guys the best.
Thank you 🥂
ohhhh i just built my own pc a few days ago and learned lots of stuffs from the process, it's absolutely exciting to watch such a fast build. the pricing's really nice!
bro just spent half the budget on the monitors instead of the pc it self, but still, this video is wholesome, really good content bruh. im a pc builder too, much love for yall
This was one of the things i love from shenzhen when i was used to live there
I have seen you growing from 20 subscribers to 95k bro congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Awesome would definitely ❤️ to visit 😆
Thats my paradise place. Wow!
As a tech person who’s built many systems before, I’d love to visit some day and check out all the tech stuff there for myself, and bring back loads :)
i guaranteee you immense pleasure visiting and after
I went there last month...man. It was amazing! So many buildings and shops. The lower floors are typically for general consumers, the next level up will have products for speciality areas such as cameras, lights, projectors. The next few levels will have parts. The top levels typically are typically wholesalers. Quite different than ten years ago! @gentoffire @primesonhad
@@whatispizza indeed, big cities in China usually have 1-2 these mega tech malls, I really enjoy visiting them, check out the new stuff, fix my equipments and try on new ones for free. As a tech person, it just amazinlyg pleasant for me.
I was there once many years ago, it wasn't any where near as built up as it is now of course but it was still a fun experience. However, as seen in the video there are some problems. One, only one stick of RAM, so no dual channel. And if it's an Ryzen processor - they basically need dual channel to do any sort of decent gaming on them. Second, he didn't haggle really (from what was shown in the video). From my experience, many vendors will lower prices a good bit if you haggle. And if you speak the language, they'll usually be quicker to do it. But again, unless I missed it in the video, I don't think I saw what CPU or GPU was going in, so maybe dual channel won't help if it's an older CPU etc.
thank you for this vlog! Now I know where to go if I'm on a trip to China.
when I was at high school I lived a world like this, I spent most of the time strolling in the E markets with my friends. seeing all these hardware made my days. nowadays the online shopping took over. it's getting very hard to find such a good vibe in the actual marketplaces.
fel you are good youtuber
Thank you for sharing this video
keep it up and we move✌
Thanks!
I appreciate that!!
Bro I go here every weekend and look at all the new electronic gadgets
These travel videos really inspires me and I hope one day I will be travelling the world
Enjoy your new pc!😊
Thank you 🥂
know that you shall never go broke, you have both the languages that run the world, peace my dawg!!respect
It surprises me how cheap things like Coolers and HDs or SSDs are, it's always paid off to buy Storage from China, more than in Brazil, not to mention Video Cards, CPUs, they are always very attractive prices, and products that last a long time, already I'm planning to buy a more powerful video card from China.
That's if my government doesn't tax me
Not sure if anyone mentioned this but you bought an office PC that wont be able to play games apart from Indie games. I say this because the components he used are of minimal quality and specs. So buying a gaming monitor to put with it makes no sense when you cant use the features on the monitor. I might be wrong and this PC is only for work with emails and such that was described in an earlier video. If I am not and you thought you bought a gaming PC then you got scammed or your budget wont allow it and that is the best you could buy, which is still a bad choice to buy a gaming monitor that costs so much instead of just a standard HD monitor.
a rgb hyperx ram in a low end pc. i hope this guy didnt get scammed
Did he just install a single stick of ram for you? Most motherboards now support dual channel. You need to try split it into 2 sticks or get one more if possible to take advantage of the speed.
yessir
So upon all the beautiful cases with beautiful interior, you chose the office case 😂😂😂Herh Ghana 🇬🇭 man is not a gamer
Lol 😂 I normally use my mac 💻 for high end tasks, this pc is for office work😊
change that power supply quick.
Welcome to China. Great video
Thank you
Honestly its easy to build PC like that, specially they already deal with that kind stuff everyday.
No. Easy because things are plug and play today. It is as easy as scratching your behind today, compared to 2004/06'ish. Yet alone compared to the AT era around 1986-1994 periode.
I say everyone can do it today. And those 10 minutes are nothing. I did it back in the mid-00's. Yes assembling only and it turned on. But then came the actual test of the hardware. You know. Memtest, OS installation and benchmark to see if things had issues.
you can build a PC any way you want anywhere tho....it is just nice that they have the accessibility and options in this market.
omg what wonderful prices
Love the video, enjoy your pc
视频总是太给力的,每次遇到它我就快去看看😅,再说,你说的那个城市SHENZEN,希望有一天我可以去那儿旅游而希望见到你。加油!
wow this is so cool
Amazing bro, the prices of MacBook are insane, it's same of hard disk seagate, if you want to buy this in Cameroon you must to give 2000$ ,just amazing
SHENZHEN ELECTRONIC DISTRICT IS LIKE A GROWN MANS TOYS R US
Keep up the good work road to 100k
Let’s goo🚀💥
Almost reaching requirements for yt Silver Play Button
thanks for sharing, greetings from Mexico
Awesome video, You should have showed us the specs of the pc too😉
Thanks for your informative stream ! Greetings from Florida, USA @ Walt Disney World...Question please. How does Shenzen charge so little for these high end computer parts? Are these items original and new ?
Greetings 🥂🥂
Where do you think all our electronics come from here in the west? They are all made in China. Mostly western brands sure, but all made in China. They don't get the big prices in China because there's no shipping cost to get the products in our western stores. And not to mention the import fees and higher taxes on products, N/A.
But the most important part the gpu is expensive as all get out in China.
no inflated margins, so itäs just parts because labor is so cheep. just raw material. You can buy SSD's GPU'S very cheep
CPU/GPU and motherboard are about the same price in the US, but generic power supplies, coolers, fans, cases, are way cheaper than your name brand stuff. If you want to save more, there are also plenty of Chinese brands offer affordable memory modules and SSDs which may not be on par with Samsung/WD/Crucial/G.Skill/Corsair but still are reliable
Great video
It's a dream of mine to go there and build a cheap PC lol
Great!
Good job bro
Good Job! 🖱🖥
the RGB in that one is nuts, Rigs Gonna Blow
Massive respect 🙏
Realy I like this video so much
fyi never settle for 1 ram stick always, always get duel(2 stick)Ram :D ram is wayyyy cheap nowadays :D great vid by the way :) im a big pc enthusiast, i built all 3 of our home computers, from low end to high end :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Will that MacBook actually receive updates like a Mac from the Mac store? Anyone know?
Me Understanding every single thing they are saying.. without looking at the subtile.. is the greatest thing I achieve that year at the Confucius institute of Chinese..🎉
They have any Caribbean food 😂🇬🇩🔥
AWESOME 🔥
Awesome video

One undeniable thing is huaqiangbei is really immersive. Also I keep hearing that you say the ‘bigass’ market😂
At the 2 mins boy with pram told his dad ....pointed and said look at that man.
the camera game is insane!
One question, please don't get me wrong.
I speak Portuguese, I don't understand what your language is.
How do the Chinese treat you as a black man?
It seems like they are friendly.
Please don't be offended by the question.
And besides, you are a very friendly and communicative person.

So what are the specs for your computer? Processor, GPU,PSU, and SSD?
bro, i got a same computer case with you. it just cost 40 rmb in pdd(拼多多)and free delivery. also want to know you cpu and graphic card type to see if you got cheated
I feel like he got cheated in the GPU, but we don't know how much he paid, maybe its just a browsing computer, its super hard to see, but the text I think reads GT 1030.
How much Was the gaming Monitor& CPU,, I would want to purchase one?
l enjoy your video
Am looking at the floor its clean really clean.
Hi, how do you manage to access TH-cam in China, will be heading that way soon, international roaming? VPN with local sim? Thanks
Looks like the new PC parts are very old??? Or am I mistaken, Nice videos
Yea I remember building those desktops, the longest part was farmating the drive, installing the operating system and drivers. That xp is still grimy solid.
Then you had to call Microsoft with that long number if you didn't have Internet to do the challenge. 🇯🇲🇯🇲
What specs did you spec your computer with though and how much did it cost?
that computer had 8 fans. 3 on top/bottom. with with two on the back side.
