tralens The Grenadiers are always on the right of the line and the Coldstream on the left. It's Brigade order and the reason the bands line up as they do on the Troop. In this instance the Grenadier Drummer is on the left as he is the lone side drummer and will beat Drummers Call during the parade, because of this the Coldstream Drummer moves down one place and yes he is the only Coldstream Drummer on parade this year
That Spin Wheel needs practice. Too much hesitancy, losing the step whilst regaining position, missing the cues for stepping off, and the two Corps of Drums need to sharpen up their act. Pretty sure it'll be OK for Saturday. As my old Coldstream CSM used to say ( Kiwi Clements ) , 'bad rehearsal - good parade, gentlemen,' lol. Practice makes perfect, which it will be.
0:46 it looks as if the Drummer broke the Snare head of his drum.
Looking forward to 2. June 2022! Greetings from Germany!
Great spin-wheel! And during a rehearsal!
Excellent video! The spinwheel was achieved effortlessly
Outstanding!
Coldstream Drummer next to a Grenadier Drummer. That's an interesting line up!
Do you know why?
Scott Fitzgerald I don't Scott but it would be nice to know why. Is he the only Coldstream Drummer on the Parade?
Scott Fitzgerald musicians and drummers have been known to finish up far from home during the spin wheel.....

louislungbubble True!
what is the difference of Coldstream and grenadier guards?
Scott, congratulations for the great video. Are you the Drum Major of the Coldstream Guards? I know you're not the writer.
Yeah, I'm Coldstream Guards and currently Senior Drum Major Household Division. Been a while since I wrote a book!
Scott Fitzgerald Ok, never mind, the books are fine already, but now you have more important things to do. Congrats and thank you for your response.
