I wonder how many people watched this and thought, "Yup. Totally me." This video is very relatable and I'm sure it is for many people. The fact that sometimes you just need to get lost in something to help wind down. The epitome of why video games are a great hobby and excellent distraction. Nice job, Brazzy McBraz.
CooL! Speaking of which, I'm beginning to realize just how few puzzle games are talked about on the system. Really, I think it's this, Tetris Attack, the Super Bomberman games, The Lost Vikings, and Kirby's Avalanche which are talked about quite a bit, but that's about it. It was only recently that I learned just how many worthwhile and creative puzzle games there were. Might as well name some while I'm at it: Ka-Blooey, Pieces, Push-Over, Spindizzy Worlds, The Brainies, Troddlers, and Zoop
There are quite a few. Tetris Attack and Kirby's Avelanche are two I love, but I have a few Japanese Tetris games as well. I'm thinking of doing an SNES puzzle game video in the future.
There's also Lemmings 1 and 2, but Troddlers pretty much fills that role since it's said to be a variant of Lemmings. Some might say that Troddlers is better than Lemmings actually.
Brasel TheGamer Sounded fine on my phone. TH-cam sounds different on every platform. Music is too loud on a TV, and at the same time too quiet on a phone. Just hafta find a happy medium.
Man the summer I graduated high school whenever nothing was going on my best friends at the time and I would non stop play Tetris/Dr. Mario. I enjoy Gradius but I do hate how dying once sends you back to the beginning. That's why Life Force and Gradius 5 are my favorites because you come back just like in Contra. My go to games would have to be Super Double Dragon, Final Fight, Mega Man X, and Cool Spot.
My go to games would be Aladdin (first SNES game I beat as a child), Megaman X (probably the game I've played the most throughout my life), Super Punch Out! (what's not to love?), Super Mario World (every once in a while you want to beat the game, either this or Super Mario All-Stars), perhaps Donkey Kong Country (only the first one though, I grew up with the first one although I recognize the second one as a better game). If we count longer games I have to add Super Metroid as I beat that game regularly.
I find your perspective of SC IV very interesting. I enjoy that game as a pick up and play, but for different reasons. Although I do agree that the game has great atmosphere, I mainly stick around for gameplay.
Ha ha, I completely forgot I chastised you again for using my "trigger" word. That Dr. Mario/Tetris mix-up could've been a lot cooler. I find that mode to be a bit underwhelming. And everyone I know says Aladdin is better on the SNES. I'll be honest, I picked it up at a flea market two years ago and have yet to play it.
Haha! Wes layin' down the law! I didn't play much of CV4 as a kid but I loved the piss out of it on the Wii VC! Belmont's theme/victory jingle when beating a boss is sooooo damn catchy!
Ha awesome Wes cameo. Grumpy old man :D I totally agree about SCIV great pick up and play game. Though I disagree about Aladdin. I prefer the Genesis version, oddly enough.
Ah man love your chair haha, rather than once of these $100+ gaming chairs any day, always on the lookout for something similar. I can live without Dr Mario,or Gradius; but Aladdin is an interesting one to see again. The others I played for a SNES Mini video recently, all very nice
I need to play Mega Man X... I've always preferred Dracula X to Castlevania 4. I think it's due to the music. I just want to hear that first level's soundtrack! Great intro with the after work skit :)
You know I love me some Doc Mario!!!!!!!!
I've found that as I get older, I enjoy puzzle games more and more! Thanks for sharing these!
I was never big on SNES. Rented a few and only owned about 5 games. This mini mania is my chance to relive it
Yeah man it's a selection of the highest order, enjoy! Played through them all myself recently, most for the second + time, was an absolute pleasure
All fantastic games. Personally one of my favorite go to games is Actraiser. Always have so much fun with that game.
Oh man me too if my save battery wasn't shot. :(
Brasel TheGamer I wish TH-cam had sad reacts :(

Wes is right.
I love Dr. Mario music. I dont know why but it sound so funny to me.
Oh me too!
Turtles in Time is one of my go-to games. It's short, not *too* difficult, and a good one to play with a buddy.
Also, the music in the Super Nintendo version of Dr. Mario sucks ass.
I love the Mr. Rogers style intro. I’m watching this from my honeymoon in Spain. Thanks for the dose of home while I’m away!

Music too loud again. *sigh* I'm so good at this. lol

It sounds perfect on my PC, maybe it can sound weird on a 5.1 or 7.1, but on PC speakers and my phone it sounds just fine.
Sounds fine while I watch from my phone with those crappy white Apple earbuds.
Yea. No probs here. Maybe on bigger speakers or with earbuds it comes out different

LuciousShowcase I'm buying a lottery ticket!

Definitely give it a shot soon. It doesn't take any time to complete if you have any skill at all for platformers.
I never got to play the Genesis one cus I never owned any Sega stuff, but I did enjoy the hell out of Aladdin on snes
Haha! Wes layin' down the law!

Gotta say hi to the doggies no matter how long the day was.

Dude, that chair is busted as hell. Like it's coming apart and I'm kind of surprised I haven't fallen through it yet. lol
Brasel TheGamer it’s got character 😀
I think I need to get gradius to Italy sir
