it is great that I found out it's possible, so I guess I'll look for some place to do it.. and hopefully it's not a software problem.. I do think he should have cleaned the inside of the lens for the camera ..who knows what crap is in there that's going to be on every picture from now on

Can you tell us what the liquid was in the bottle that you applied around the seam after applying the heat gun???
Probably isopropyl alcohol or similar to help break the bond enough to fit the breaker bar in.

Why did you remove the 7 charge port screws? Not sure you needed to honestly. Good video though. Thanks for posting.

He replaced the front screen too: See the cracks at 0:07 and at 13:30 theyre missing. Un-necessary step for only battery replacement.
