Step1 Remove the back cover

If your phone is loading but not fast enough or only at specific positions you could try to clean the usb port. This happened to me, thought I need to repair it but I just switched it off and pulled a lot of dust out with the help of a needle (thats why you need to turn it off before). Now it's working again :)

hey my u11 plus is stuck on slow charge mode. Is there any way it can be the port, it still charges but extremely slow.

This same thing happened with my U11 and my One M8, HTC are skimping on this part, it is weak. I shouldn;t spend $600 on a phone and within two years cannot charge it, HTC should pay to replace.

I ordered a backcover, charging port and new battery. I was able to replace the battery and the backcover. Unfortunately some screws couldn't be removed (down left and down right) so I couldn't replace the charging port. it's probably because my phone is 3 years old. But I thought good to know.
Next time try heating them up before back them out
I entered micro USB instead of USB C, so charging port is ruined is this enough to replace?! I saw the yellow films destroyed!!

Why you haven't shown replacing the charging port itself?? You cut it after removing the gasket and the showed putting gasket ring back.

Hey guys, assuming I do everything right during the process, do you think the water remains water resistant or by opening the cover decrease the level of protection?

Распространенная проблема с разъёмом для зарядки/наушников, оказывается. У меня через 11 месяцев перестали подключаться комплектные наушники. Через переходник удаётся подключать другие наушники, но порой стоит слегка задеть их, как происходит разъединение. В общем, чтобы нормально послушать музыку через наушники, надо замереть и не делать лишних движений )) Постоянный disconnect. Это нервотрёпка, честное слово. А в последнее время и заряжать не всегда получается. Нередко либо медленная зарядка, либо вообще не заряжается. Сервисные центры в РФ, честно говоря, доверия не вызывают. Во-первых, в рекламе стоимость работ одна (приемлемая), а по факту насчитывают в несколько раз дороже (и смартфон не вернут пока не заплатишь). Во-вторых, ремонт делают в основном "на коленке" с помощью обычного набора электроника-любителя. Такую специальную самоклеющуюся плёнку, как на этом видео, наверняка не используют (возвращают смартфон, который перетянут резиночками и источает запах клея). Также под большим вопросом качество деталей, которые ставят взамен вышедших из строя. Таким образом, остаётся два варианта: 1) не покупать смартфоны с единственным разъёмом для зарядки/наушников и 2) учиться ремонтировать самостоятельно, просматривая подобные видеоуроки и читая специализированные форумы.

Yes, there are two microphone inside the phone. One is on the top of motherboard, another is on the USB board. Did you drop the phone before? Is yes, you can try open it and check whether the main flex cable loosen or not. If yes, reconnect it.

I am so dissapointed with my u11. Charging port broken after just 10 months. :(
I cant do fast charging anymore, it says "charging slowly" all the time..I tried all chargers and chords.. is my port broken?
@@Sejuani89 if u used alot your phone while charging, usb connecter will eroding while your hands movement. same problem with earphone connect... when i put phone to my socket and earplug connected, while walking socket will move by my pant... this cause the eroding socket.
actually only replacement of type c connecter cost 0.5-1 usd. but i cant find how to replace it. if u have warranty go send it to warranty. your phone is not broken just type c connector eroded.
try using an electrical wash liquid in the port, then blow out with compressed air, I have same problem after 2 years but sometimes this helps make the contacts better. May have dust and lint in the port.
