    Nice video. Indeed the theme is basically the soul of a movie/screenplay, I myself took a long time to learn this lesson. :)

      Hello! I have already a video where I explain how to write the logline (that's the single line you mention). I'll try to create also one for synopsis at some point. Thanks for watching! :)
      Here's the video about logline: th-cam.com/video/4GTkwNXXVGA/w-d-xo.html

    I have finally learned that Theme has to tie in with your characters flaw.

    Hii bro
    Please tell me one book like "story to screenplay." In easy language

    • @ScriptwritingTips
      @ScriptwritingTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are so many books out there, it depends what clicks with you. I guess the easiest would be Save the Cat by Blake Snyder. But if you want some more in-depth analysis on theme try The Anatomy of Story by John Truby.

    I literally just came here to write better stories, and understand these elements better... Five videos later and now I want to write scripts

    • @ScriptwritingTips
      @ScriptwritingTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂 On behalf of the screenwriting people: "Yay!!!" hahaha
      However, you can still apply all of these elements to your stories. In fact, you can do both!
      You could distinguish which of your ideas are better for a book or for a film.
      Btw, I thank you for your comment!

      @@ScriptwritingTips I'm a baby writer, and truly, I think I'm just pleasantly surprised that I don't care what kind of writer. After reaching this place, I agree with you, that I'll probably do both -- and more!

      @@ScriptwritingTips thanks! I'm really have to relearn a lot... And unlearn a lot... and I've really undervalued what persistence means.
      Thank you for being so encouraging
