Sorry to break this to you. Labour charge of 2k is huge. I think local service dealer is charging high. Buy your parts and do these changes and work done from a local service mechanic. Ye sab kam 600rs mein kar deta. 😒

You should find a good mechanic who services ktm you will save the labour cost which is given by the showroom. Because showroom adds labour cost for each part fixed and plus they add GST also which will be avoided if done by a mechanic you will save atleast 2k on service
That's why I bought unicorn I don't even wash my vehicle. Just Changed the engine oil and air filter at regular intervals that's the maximum maintenance I did.

I own FZ V2 and it's 4 years old and this time it's service costed me 7800 that too excluding the engine oil price of 740 rupees and tbh i never thought that a bike belonging to 150cc category would cost me this much and going by this i think your bike's service was still reasonable considering the fact that it's a 200cc bike and that too of ktm which we all know is expensive to maintain in the long term
I have tvs apache rtr 180 2016 model and completed 5 years this august. Yesterday i completed 67,700 Kms of driving with my bike and till now no major change is done in my bike, i do servicing timely i.e 5000-6000 kms and in a year only 2 services occur. On last service i just changed the halogen bulb to led but it got fuse within a month and again i switched to stock halogen one. Till now happy with my bike experiencing no problems with it
Buying a expensive bike is easy, but maintaining it is a real challenge, not everybody can keep it maintained in a proper manner, anyways love from assam brother
Wow!! My honest advice to you will be to sell this off asap.. I had pulsar 150...Kept it for 5 yrs MAX and then sold it for 24k...It started eating me later...A good way is to let it go and buy a new one...at least it will comfort you for the first 2 yrs without any hassle.. Sell it. Cheers!
That's true man expensive cars or bikes are more expensive to maintain in the long run especially when they start requiring replacement of spare parts so that's the time when one should think of selling them off if they don't wanna bear that cost
Ye white elephant hai bhai rakhne ka kharcha to ayega hi mere pass bhi KTM RC 200 hai and lene se phle hi mai bhi prepared tha ki after 3 to 4 years ke baad bada fatka padega krke so it’s ok for me
Being very honest ktm is not for middle class owners as it tends a person to rev it more by doing so it causes mechanical issues like engine cease sprocket and clutch issues ,the metre which has nothing to do when we r revving it just shows the digits is out of order ktm gives u the punch the feel the kick needed to boost dopamine it thrills but at a very huge cost if it is taken into service centre and rider is below 30 i bet that the bill must not be under 4000 at any cost

@@shivangpandey7326 I had bs3 RC 390 , after that bs4 Duke 390 and after that R15 v3 and now both dominar 400 ug and RC 390 bs4 , from my experience , ktm provides the best performance for the money , you maintain the bike by doing its general services and it runs , bs3 was a little head ache but other than minor issues like all brands ktm are good , there's no reason why one should think twice about buying one . The max cash I spent for a service on a 390 was 3000 and mind , I drive very hard and how a ktm should be driven , I know what they are capable of . But I agree with Bajaj and Yamaha and ktm and honda etc .. in single cylinders ktm may be the harder to maintain but ktm is also simply providing more performance in every aspects like braking and power and overall performance package .

meter can be repaired at meter and shocker shop in less cost.new meter is not good as the one that comes preinstalled with the bike .
