2012 models me duke topend me sbse aage thi, bro first gen NS topend ekbar check krna 158 tk jati he aajbhi 10 sal bad. Ustime duke topend k liye nai but fask pickup k liye jani jati thi us time duke ka koi mukabla hi nai tha launch hone me. But topspeed me duke 136 hi jati thi or limiter htane k bad 145 k around.

I have my Duke 200 BS3 with speed limiter cut off and 42 teeth sprocket at rear - i have not upgraded my bike for last 11 years, i do not need to. I tour and use the bike daily. Only problem is with USD forks which is not good for daily use in potholed roads of Indian cities. Heating issue is severe in traffic, can feel tiring.
This bike is not for congested city rides but big and fast highways. This bike is exactly like a powerful 2 stroke bike.
My bike wheelspins at 125kmph while shifting to 6th gear and due to short wheelbase cannot go above 143kmph as it starts wobbling.
Now 143 kmph is real top speed, no speedo errors. Mileage is 36 kmpl mixed riding, 32 kmpl with pillion.
Had armature coil problems which i solved by changing armature cover from bs4 for better engine oil lubrication.
I can only upgrade to a superbike with such experience.
DOES bs4 or bs6 engine parts like fuel injector, fuel pump , motor and major ecu and long list fits to bs3?? Bike btw i was planning to get bs3 duke 390 duke200 is quite comfortable machine.
@@yousufmusthaneer9738 The mechanical components on BS3, BS4 and BS6 bikes are all same and can be used interchangeably. BS6 models are only aesthetically different.
ECU you can buy any generation, will fit the BS3, but it had to be mapped accordingly due to OBD sensor difference related to engine performance and ignition. KTM service has ECU maps for all generation bike models.
Till BS6 phase 1, which is E10 fuel compliant mechanicals will not make any major difference. BS6 phase E20 mechanicals will be different and certain units had to be entirely replaced to meet E20 ECU requirements. I will not do it right now. But after 15 years completion if required to meet emission norms.
I am also suffering from armature coil issues. Please give detailed solution 🙏
@@beckashwin change the armature side crank cover to the latest model , it has better oil circulation.
The 1st lot of Duke 200 suffered armature failures due to restricted engine oil circulation in armature chamber. The issue was corrected in BS4 and later models.

@@yogiadiyanath As is said earlier . MT has nothing in terms of performance it's just the ride quality which MT offers . Otherwise at lower RPMs it feels like a regular 150cc bike .
I also like MT , I never hated that one but the price tag is just non justifiable . Bcoz Duke also has a great ride quality .
