I appreciate your straight forward and reasonable overview of the G47. Most of the big channels are using the G47 to just bash Glock. I think it's a pretty cool model, personally.
Great review. Learned a few new things about the 47. I love my Glock 17. Glocks are very utilitarian. Few bells and whistles but just reliable. Sure there are sexier guns out there but I'd rather have one that goes boom when I want and I can practice to improving my shooting accuracy.
Thank you Alan! You absolutely do the best videos on firearms. And you are correct sir, Glocks are the most point able firearm on the market. The bore sits high right along your index finger and it just naturally “points” to the target.
Glocks are good, not the most pointable on the market as that depends entirely on what you train with and shoot the most. I've shot Glocks, I've shot many other pistols, Glocks are not my first choice (refer to first sentence), Would I turn one down? Absolutely not, they are an excellent, reliable platform with average accuracy.
I never thought it was a good idea to change guns around if your left-handed anyway. Just put an extended slide stop on a Gen 4 with the larger mag release, and learn how to use it. As long as it's not a Bullpup or something, there's really no reason to screw with it.

Lot's of people consider them awkward with its grip angle. I have yet to pick one up and find it comfortable to handle.
