Nice video, I have 5 of the scx24s and a set of the wheel weights...I was thinking of making a video and comparing them side by side, one with weights, and one without.
I got a wltoys 144001 because of ur video and it’s REALY fun to play with we smashed it into the curb the second run and we bent the drive shaft butt we did put some grease in the diffs it took to long
did your wheel weights come with washers or orings? the ones i bought came with 12 orings (3 per wheel). im assuming they gave me extra orings but where do i put them???
Such an awesome video ,and so perfectly timed because I asked Santa for an Scx24 deadbolt and my amain cart already has tons of aftermarket hop ups for it! Hell yea you guys are my FAVORITE RC guys on the tube!
I bought the same set of wheel weights. For $12, it’s a great value for the difference you’ll feel. But some of these wheel weights are like $40 (!) and come on, 1/3rd the value of the entire car is not worth a minuscule difference in performance. Maybe a few upgrades sure but the math only works out if you’re buying the cheapest upgrades. I don’t understand how people spend $400 upgrading a $120 car when there’s such a lowered ceiling of performance, but this wheel weight set is a killer deal. Really cool video and nice course to boot!
You need a little more weight to make a bigger difference. I went from driving completely stock to ordering a bunch of brass and completely changed the way it drives. I put on Wheel Weights, Diff Covers and Steering Knuckles all at once and man what a difference, especially if you have lifted your truck. It is way too top-heavy out of the box to lift it without brass on the bottom for sure.
@@10thScaleGarage Nice man, take a look into other suspension options in the future. I got the HobbyPlus CR18/CR24 shocks because the stocks are 32mm long with 8mm travel while the HobbyPlus are 40mm long with 12mm travel. The only issue with those PowerHobby shock you got is while they are perfectly quality and nice aluminum, you spent the money for almost no reason. They are the same length as stock so all you have done is change the material. Hot Racing option shocks are the same way. Kenetic Double Barrel shocks seem to be the best option if you can find them on eBay.
@@10thScaleGarage Ya thats just the stock springs are too soft and can't push the truck to max ride height without preload. You can look it up: stock Shocks are 32mm long with 8mm travel, Hot racing and PowerHobby are also 32mm with 8mm travel. HobbyPlus CR18/CR24 shocks are 40mm long with 12mm travel.
i wasnt impressed with the comparison, the first one might even be better then the second, it climbed clearly to the top with out issue, second time it went sideways and didnt complete teh climb .. so... yea .. also how can you compare the wheel weights as a second run with out 3 retry's for the bridge :P should have done the test in oppisite order to rule out skillz.
What skills? Ha! No, I totally see where you’re coming from, but having driven multiple crawlers- stock and modified, the wheels weights make a huge difference.
The wheel weights really helped lining up to the bridge :)
These are the type of videos thats going to blow your channel up.. before and after upgrades
Exactly! These videos are addicting but not a lot of channels do the well, this one is awesome!
Thanks! More to come!

You can bend the drive shafts straight again if you put them in a vice.
@@10thScaleGarage thanks for the tip
Niceness 10th scale.Merry Christmas to you dudes!!!
Likewise brother.

I think so? I think they’re intended to go on the axel behind the drive pin to prevent the drive pin from coming loose.
Are use wheel weights for heavy bead locks on all of my mini rigs
Awesome!
Nice comparison runs and I’m really diggin the course 😎🤙🏼
Hey thanks! It took forever to build but it turned out awesome.
Definitely looking forward to running with you guys tonight

Nice! Let’s hope Santa delivers!
So is this a stock model before putting the weights?
Yup.
@@10thScaleGarage, well, it performs nicely!

Not a fan of the loud music blaring over you guys on that second run. I would say duck it down or don't have it except in montages imo.
Good idea. I need a better pair of reference headphones.
I may get some of those. I did wonder.👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾
Dude, $11 doll hairs.

It has brass knuckles, diff covers wheels weights and Power Hobby suspension now.

It lifted the ride hight quite a bit. It has way more flex now.

Can you do a 1/10 pan car and 1/10 F1 race cars?
Tamiya has one that I’d love to build.
Dang, now I need wheel weights.
It makes a HUGE difference.
Wtf was that mark... like 3 inchs away from the board...
