reminder to people who didn't see the movie that batman retired for a while because crime in gotham improved and it actually became one of the safest cities to live. it's also probably because of him not having a no kill rule that gotham became so safe, makes you think
You don’t know if he kills tho….. however sources have said that in the batgirl movie (which we never got) was confirmed however that Batman doesn’t kill. Which is hard to believe as he did in other Keaton films
@moonknight4053 i maybe misremembering a meme where batman puts dynamite on a guy's belt, makes a funny face, and the guy explodes. im pretty sure it was this batman regardless, he never makes the claim that he doesn't kill right? so i think killing criminals is what made gotham so safe, compared to comic book gotham
@disguisedcentennial835 certain parts of the movie was pretty well written, the first being that this is a flash origin story but it tells the audience what didnt happen or what should have happened instead. i thought that was pretty cool, along with flash mentoring flash and the main antagonist of the movie, as well as when supergirl and batman died over and over. the movie was 50% dumb, 50% cool ideas overall, and im pretty sure that people who actually saw the movie didn't hate it for the writing, because that was the least apparent part, but the design and presentation was the main and most apparent problem. for example, transformers 4 was poorly written and edited, but it had optimus prime riding dinosaurs, so we overlook all the poor writing and editing moments for the cool shit right? but in the flash, the cool shit still looks bad. a lot of people share the clip in the speedforce with all the dimensional spheres, but the cgi is bad throughout, ever since the microwave scene. they put the babies and a dog in slowmo, but they cgi'd all of them instead of filming them in slomo, so its like you're looking at the flash interacting with ps3 graphics. in the following scene batman gets ragdolled around and iirc his grappling hook clipped through a car? the costumes they wore also didn't look very good, the ring suit scene looked kinda bad too. there are good looking moments tho, like when the lightning ripped through 2 flashes, but there are so many bad looking moments that it takes the enjoyment out of the movie. i think it may have been because of the scenes where 2 flashes are interacting with each other? it looked really convincing and i think that was where most of the budget went writing is definitely not the worst part of the movie. if anything the comedy was enjoyable and wasn't poorly timed or in poor taste
Batman trying to scare him so he can get away while "Ezra" killing him proudly.

It really doesn’t make you think if you’re smart enough to know this is a poorly written movie lol
