Greetings! The lightbar is connected to the GPS and, simply put, tells the pilot where to go so they don't spray the same place twice or miss any. They can set different patterns and widths to accomodate different fields and dispersions. Its kind of like a military plane's HUD.
Great vid, real live action! Dont know why the field is set up turning right ( I guess pilot preference) Looks like a race track pattern but the c line is going beyond the field? nice job finding center of field and holding straight line!

How aggressively they turn is based on how much of a load and fuel they are carrying at the time.
@tjodalv44 that sure is fancy. Is it hard to get into this type of occupation? It sure looks like one of those, Man I love my Job type of jobs.

What's the Instrument out in front of the cockpit for? the horizontal bar.
How fast do you fly during spray? How must liquid (gallons/acre) is usually sprayed?
