- In this video, I explore a cascade of waterfalls I found in the Faroe Islands. In many ways, this place delivered everything I search for in my landscape photography. A dramatic and atmospheric photo with loads of motion, patterns, and mood. This location is neither secret nor hidden, but you do have to go "beyond the obvious" to find it. There were so many waterfalls at this location, so this is how to photograph waterfalls.

Ya you really see his style in these sets of images. How he gets that nice soft glow between the foreground and background and works the clouds so they look like they’re sweeping down into the frame and accentuating the subject. Such a master!

It’s amazing how the hills come alive with waterfalls after it has rained. Another superb video of the Faroes.
We just finished our trip at the Faroe Islands and returned home on Sunday. What a fabulous place but I really urge people to go as soon as possible before it is wrecked! Thank you for all of your encouragement and guidance along the way. Funny but I ran into a person from Thailand who was going to “a secret place“ which of course he also learned about from you! Rained only the last two days and the water was needed.
It won't be wrecked... Not enough people are brought to islands for that to happen.
Mads Peter Iversen Atlantic Airways is considering nonstops from New York City. If Faroe goes along with that, it won’t be good.

In most videos we often get you photographing one waterfall, seeing you shoot several at one time it really helped with composition techniques. Great video.
Could tell by the smile Mads you were loving this and understandably so as the images were both atmospheric and stunning. Loved how the cloud in the final image formed around the mountain and immediately conjured up the ethereal feel. Beautiful work as always

Mads is the man!!..... how many out there know what its like to be wet and cold but not be able to pull yourself away!! I think if you find yourself in this situation you've succeeded in life, your living it to the fullest!! Hey I don't know if the ad's in this will be the same but this is a bit of a first for me!! I actually watched the whole ad for the Blade 720 drone and I clicked the link and bought one
The passion is real in this video, and the love of the craft really shows! I know I can certainly relate to doing 'photography yoga' trying to get into the right position to take a shot. These photos are super well done man.
