I used to hate the accords bc I considered them like a Camry, but then I discovered this generation, and fell in love, and realized it was nothing like a Camry. This is a truly beautiful car, and being a Honda, you can't go wrong

The electric motors drive the wheels with the engine constantly charging the battery. The engine will only kick in at high speeds when the Ecu determines it will be at its most efficient. But around town it’s purely electric.

This car had 3 nobs below that screen. Three incredibly functional and loveable nobs. Why did they remove them?!?! They were honestly one of the highlights of this infotainment system when I test drove the latest CR-V (since they have the same infotainment). However, this is still one of the best infotainment systems you can get on a car. It looks amazing.
I have a 24 hybrid touring accord and the first three months were an adjustment. But now Ive come to love how comfortable it is and how quiet it is. Coming from a 2018 LX, this thing drives like a dream. I have some squabbles about the front look but IDC when I'm sitting in the interior that almost feels like a luxury vehicle a class above what I paid.
I understand that coming from someone who tests many cars, your standards might be different from those of a new owner who will only have this one vehicle. Perhaps the term "standard" could be clarified to consider the perspective of a first-time buyer. This way, the review can be even more helpful for them. My suggestion: "...For example, instead of saying 'standard features,' you could mention some specific features that might be considered standard for experienced drivers but might be a highlight for new owners."
Honda reliability is great compared to Hyundai. Hyundai have gone full steam ahead on their styling and tech but reliability sucks. I had a transmission error on the second day I picked up my sonata
I've had 3 kias and 1 Hyundai, they were all excellent. My 17 Elantra I bought new just turned 102.000 miles. 0 repairs, 0 issues. You cant beat that. Tires and 2 batteries. In 20021 I bought a new kia K5 GT LINE with premium package. As expected, the car has been absolutely flawless, no issues whatsoever. Great looks, very comfortable, many compliments on the car. Also received 0.0 intrest from kia finance...SWEET!
This is an unbelievably good reliable car. I still cannot understand Honda's theory behind limiting dealerships around the country, I sold my 2020 CRV because I had to drive 250Km+ for my nearest dealership. Previous gen CRVs were like among the best seller medium size SUVs in Australia. and then removed all the dealerships? whats going on.. can someone explain their strategy? @carsauce?
Want to like it, but... CVT, too expensive, agency sales model, they sell so few I bet there are no parts here and its just a bit uninspriring. I do like that clock/wheel thing but it seems poorly implemented. I'd stick with the Sonata 100%

Your logic is archaic and outdated...the agency model works very from personal experience (Honda and Mercedes owner). Honda's are sharply priced to begin with, full transparency with all costs, and absolutely no dicking around for 4hrs at the dealership just to get a set of floormats thrown in. Overall a FAR better purchasing experience than the usual bullshit you endure at dealerships.
If u open their bottom and see how they put the suspension and new hybrid system… it is insane. While toyota hyundai using same system For 20yrs, honda created new wat of hybrid
The reason why nobody buys sedans anymore, and haven't for a long time, is because they are hopelessly impractical. I had someone buy an Ikea kitchen side table from me on the weekend. He had a Civic sedan. We had to dismantle half of it to fit in his car. Had someone pick up an old freestanding oven and cooktop from me, put the back seats down in his Corolla hatch, and it swallowed it up. I am amazed people (including me) persisted with sedans for so long.

The rear and sides look good but the front is so bland and ugly. Honda have the ugliest front end designs in the industry. All the new Honda designs are just plain ugly and badly executed. 65k for that, looks more like a 30k car.

I think that I'd rather have a Mazda 6 GT SP. Much more grunt, great quality, much older style in some ways and save around $15k. Which will go a long way towards paying for the extra fuel used while having fun.

It's the way the CVT operates that makes it irritating and annoying. I'd rather have a nice 8 speed auto like BMW uses or 9 speed Mercedes uses. Their cars are faster and normal engines more economical even with a normal gearbox. And even in their hybrids they use normal gearboxes. There's no excuse for the droning which makes the experience much less premium and sounding like a lawnmower or moped that uses cvt.
Lucky you have more trim and we only got 1 trim. We never have coupe or manual accord. We don't have have Acura. Even previous 10th gen, we only got 1.5T and 2.0i Hybrid (not turbo).

Oil dilution issues have been resolved by the way and it was only in freezing cold climates. Also it wasn't as common as people made it out to be.

It's not a traditional CVT! There are a few videos on Honda's eCVT transmission. its quite an impressive bit of engineering.
