I hadn't watched this till now but i've been mining all kinds of Ethash coins over the past year with mine. As long as its using a vanilla version of Ethash and the DAG is under 3.6gb you can mine it. I usually use it to mine new coins to stack up on them

I don't have any asics and don't think I ever will. They are far too expensive and retail purchases are sketchy no matter who sells them imo. Hope all of you that have and run them the best of luck mining. ✌

This is good news! I have a V1 mini wifi and a V1 mini classic both running ETCHASH to Bitcoin on Nicehash but only averaging $0.77/day over a week which has dropped dramatically. Question... is there any improvement to be had by upgrading the firmware other than to also mine ZIL? Considering moving both to OCTA with ZIL on the classic.

Thanks to you and Hobbyist Miner for continually increasing the hashrate on OCTA.. While the hoard are mindlessly mining it despite it no longer being as profitable as it was, I have been mining smaller coins with "low volume" and enjoying myself.

except the e9 pro i thought just using the ETHW firmware would make it work

Nope the E9 PRO was probably the worst released ethash miner was cheap for a reason and not efficenct very limited to select coins.

​@@RabidMining yeah i bought it for ETC cuz i already has good ETC hashrate and nothing close to its hashrate with its price and the X16-P waaay ahead like sep-aug also its 9k$ and will take months to get discounted also if i buy another e9 pro next month , that means just the two will get me 7.2Gh/s and just 5k$
