Been dual mining Octaspace/Zil since late 2023. Running 4 x Jasminer x16q. Paid around $1000 less for each at that time compaired to current prices. Have nearly 3 of the 4 units already ROI'd. Been Holdling the whole time. Also using k1pool.

Just a quick tip Panda. When upgrading or reloading the firmware, do not select "keep settings". I cant quite remember the reason, something to do with the way it generates the hashboard serial numbers, and it can cause you issues. This advice comes from Ipollo themselves
funnily enough, i recently stopped mining OCTA and switched back to ETC since its a bit more stable, haha

You should switch them to LRS. It’s going to be a good one to hold for next year.
Very interested in seeing if the V1 Mini Classic Plus Wifi (with the ETCHASH algo) can successfully mine OCTA, given that we are about to hit the DAG limit for ETC on that miner. That would certainly add more life to this little box miner.

RPM Rabid Mining tested this months ago its not an hack it works with ETCHASH seems the older miners just auto detect, BTW i have been mining OCTA and buying it for over a year now since it was at 17c .. I recently sold 75% of my big fat bag!! Holding 25% and yes i moved all my OCTA ERC20 to my Tangem!! Can’t wait to get the two RPM Tangem I ordered, Tangem for the win!

What does it mean if all ETC only miners are able to mine octa? Is the algorithm some sort of hybrid or are the pools redirecting hash? There needs to be more ETC only miners tested on this. Maybe its just ipollos firmware unlocked so theres no need to drop down box and swap.
I literally removed OCTA from my mining pools few weeks back because nobody was mining on it lol
I'm not really believe in the project anyway, most ETH forks have absolutely no purpose and use-case.
P.S.: Decentralize the POW network hash-rate if you can though...
P.S.2: You are not mining ZIL at the same time, the miner just alternate when ZIL mining is available...

Can some bigger youtubers talk about the ETCMC scam? I mean enough people still buy this shit and other youtubers are still in this shit. The discord admins start to ban users because they react with a clowns emoji in the announcements and not more. (i have screenshots from this bans) The roadmap is a joke no one see any progression. I mean they started with an windows node? ETCMC -> ETC MINING COMMUNITY -> where is the mining part? No Mining Pool but this is one of the most important points from the whitepaper! But yeah they selling caps or flags 🙄
