I wish Gameloft would offer all the older star paths in between the new updates so new players or other players who weren’t able to finish them due to not having all characters unlocked yet. That would be awesome!!
Yes! I want those purple raven wings from the first Halloween/villain starpath and anything they didn’t already re-release (in premium shop) from that starpath, Pixar starpath and the first Christmas starpath. I started the game during the last few days of the first Christmas starpath. I was only able to get a couple of things from it before it ended. I’m glad they re-released Santa Merlin, but I wish they’d also given us Merry Mickey instead of a balloon version.
We so need more outfits for Tiana - I was a little disappointed with the lack of outfits for her and the lack of frog stuff in the Starpath, but so grateful for the frog plushie!

I was gifted Dream light Valley for Mother's day in may if last year. I lost out on the first few star paths, but it is what it is, we just simply have to deal with that, and yes, it is a shame when you see something that you really want and don't have what id needed or the characters open to give those favored gifts, there will other opportunities to buy some of them, the premium gifts have changed several times since I started playing, my huge downfall is never enough moonstones to buy everything I want, which is everything offered, of course. No matter if you can or can't get waht your heart desires, this is still the cutest game ever

I wonder if they do a Realm since the DLC already has a Realm for them. I wonder how that works with the base game. I assume it will be like how Tiana came. A storyline just to get a house there.
@Chasing_Jamie possibly but I'd figure since they are trying to make base game players who don't purchase dlcs feel included that they'd add a realm for them since they are on the whole you don't t have to spend any more money after buying the base game if u don't want too thing
I don't remember which Aladdin movie it's from, but Jasmine's purple dress is my favorite of those. I certainly hope they go back to giving us 2 character Dreamstyles in the next Starpath. Tbh, not getting a Tiana alternate Dreamstyle in what was supposed to be her Starpath was a huge disappointment for me.
I have for the most part kept my valley wild and only recently implemented some strategies like an orchard and tree farms. But I decided on a whim to move all my character houses to the floating island and build a little city there, which was a lot of fun - the more modern looking houses all have their paved street, and the more urban looking houses I gave a separate street that is more lush and decorated. It was fun to finally get to do some decorating. I'd love for there to be more industrial business houses so I could have an industry street on the main valley. I refuse to move my Scrooge building because it's too funny to have the curse thorns completely surrounding it, so that limits my options with what we have currently. As for the dream style, though, I really hope for the red Jasmine outfit. If not on her then maybe we could get the outfit ourselves?? It's always been my favorite because red is my favorite color, plus I like her hairstyle + the crown decoration more. Maybe it's a little simple to be released as a whole alternate outfit for Jasmine since it's mostly a palette swap, but I'd love it at least as maybe a costume. Also - I am looking forward to the Valentines day star path. I just started DDV on Christmas because my brother bought me it after having played it himself for about a year. This Star Path has indeed been all about rushing to the end game. Doing a Star Path now that I'm better prepared and don't have to rush to unlock characters sounds more fun - plus, Valentines theme?? Red and pink colors?? I want it! Also - completely unrelated to anything, but. I did my first tryhard Dreamsnap last week and it actually did worse than just taking a photo of Ursula and Ariel in the same pool which I found hilarious.
I hope she is in the turquoise costume when she’s unlocked, but I’d love for there to a version of the dress for us too. I also would like to get the purple dress and wedding dress for our character. Turquoise (or any blue-green shade) and purple are my top two fave colors. Being that it will be close to Valentines though. Having the two dreamstyles be their wedding costumes would be cute. Or if they do another extended starpath, maybe the final item could be Aladdin and Jasmine’s wedding dreamstyles.
I'm still waiting to see if they add dreamstyles to DLC characters too. It would be such a shame if they get completely forgotten just because they came in DLCs! Maybe a pack for DLC users or something would be nice, at least. With extra content for those characters as well, as they have nothing more once the story is over. Rapunzel, Gaston and Jafar have in the movies different looks that could work nicely. And in the future, Aurora, for example.
yeeeees! This!! I have two every single thing on caught up all the time the second account that I thought I would play as a cozy just sitting down and enjoying the game. However, it’s very frustrating to have to rush through storylines or leveling up characters in order to complete the star path. I wish they would limit the Star Path to tasks that do not require advancing to certain parts of the game. Instead of naming specific villagers make it more inclusive of all villagers. Instead of naming a specific restaurant make it inclusive of both restaurants or either restaurant. Make the star path doable by any player, even though who have just started playing the game. I feel like it really isn’t much cozy about this game. I know if I were only playing one game instead of two it might feel a little more cozy. At least the downtime in between updates. I don’t like having time limits or deadlines. It would be nice to be able to really truly play at your own pace and not have to miss out on something because you didn’t cram every spare moment you had into playing the game.

I don’t have some characters due to procrastination so I just skip those Starpath duties but I never really thought about the new players who are pretty much screwed
To me, the Star Paths are end game. If you've unlocked all characters, completed all quests, unlocked all biomes and you've reached the "I'm just here to harvest and decorate" stage of the game, the Star Paths are curated for you. Otherwise, there would be very little to keep us engaged between new releases. I remember being a new player and missing out on early Star Path content, but these days that's low risk given that items now show up in the premium shop and it's easy to earn passive moonstones. There's also always new stuff coming out. I still don't have several of the 4000 moonstone packs, and I keep putting them aside because there's always other stuff to get instead. So, I'd encourage new players to stress less about Star Paths and just enjoy discovering the valley and characters for now.
I started playing DDV on the beginning of November and before the star path started I only managed to unlock a few characters since I was taking my time to play and learn the game and as a result I had to grind and try to unlock the others when the star path started. I don't know if there is an actual solution for new players because even if you locked it behind end credits people are going to want to rush through it so they can get access to the exclusive items but I do think they can dial down a little on character ones. Some tasks I thought they can add in my option are, "decorate with x amount of items in x biome", feed critters, etc. Also I might be in the minority when it comes to this but I actually prefer a star path like this even if it is grindy and can be a bit frustrating at times over trying to grind out something in a multiplayer game.
i was going to mention how dreamlight expensive this star path is for new players. on my second account i had to open MI (15k), B&B (12.5k) and toy story (7k), back to back in just a day or 2. and a few days before that i had to open lion king. all together probably 50k dreamlight. i forgot how much it was for lion king, i think around 10k there's also 6 total potions we have to make costing 6k total dreamlight i think, also crafting 3 manuals at 5k each total 15k. more if you make the catcher manuals which everyone has said do NOT count. so that's 21k to 31k dreamlight if you make the manual mistake. and you may also have to open some biomes for the gems and fish. this all in total could easily add up to 100k+. but you do have 2 months (now only 22 day) to finish the star path for the get 5k dreamlight star path tasks i just saved up the mile stones as i completed them and collected just enough to make 5k. so far that's worked out fine for 2 of the 3 5k tasks
Speaking of the catcher manual, has anyone else had a problem with theirs being invisible once placed on the ground or on a table? I wanted to put mine on a table with the other manuals, but once placed, it’s invisible. It still has a prompt to pick it up, but you can’t see the actual book lol.
Honestly, I don't want the developers designing Star Path around new players. I want tasks that involve all my characters and part of the fun for me when I started was hints and where everything goes and how many realms and characters were to come. I didn't care that I didn't know everything about the game to start. In any long term games there will be stuff that are more difficult or not available to new players. I missed out on some star paths when I started and that's why I am glad things come back to the premium shop from star paths I missed out on. I don't want all tasks to only involve the first 5 players to the valley. Plus you don't have to unlock in order. When I started, the first realm I unlocked after Remy was Beauty and the Beast because I wanted them the most so if they viewed new players on a standard path I would not have had the ones they thought during that star path. I just think the developers can't know what people will or won't have outside of DLCs for the base game unless every task only involves Mickey, Scrooge and Merlin.
I agree, I'm thinking more of maybe a beginner pass that you can get instead if you're a newer player. Doesn't have all items but still some items from the star path but easier tasks.

I think that’s Jasmine’s fountain which was a premium shop item. I think it was somewhere between 1200 and 1750 moonstones. It’s probably going to come back in the premium shop close to the Aladdin update.

Could it be the one you can only get in the storybook vale Scrooge store? I haven’t gotten it yet, so I haven’t seen it, just know it exists lol. It’s called “regal garden fountain”.

Starpath should be where you are, not where you can be. Game companies do this ALL the time, for some reason Gameloft just can't figure it out. Also, these starpath's have been rediculous. They are getting longer all while providing the same stuff. Make starpath basic things!
Star path and new gamers Nobody have to rush true just to complete the star path. It is feer of mising out thar force gamers to rush true not gameloft.

Look at Jasmin headband, the same as we see on the table next to Aladin hat, so I'm sure it's going to be the turquoise one.
