Just amazing that a watch that has deteriorate over time can be returned to its former days, I have admiration for such skills and passing on your skills to your next generation, well done,
I KNEW it! So, glad you showed the replaced parts. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it. Postitively phenomenal job on this restoration as bad off this watch was. Two thumbs way up!
That was a spectacular restoration. I love that era of watches. The style and font of the numbers on the face look really nice. Art deco era was very stylish.
Same for me, now close to a new confinement more than ever these videos are a truly inspiration and a relaxing moment, keep on doing, not going to miss the next one. Thank you for these moments. Greetings from Barcelona
A great restoration. I am amazed at your ability to give these pieces a second chance of life for someone who I hope will appreciate it. Pardon the pun but you got it running like a Swiss watch. :)
Beautiful restoration! I had to laugh every time I saw your monstrous fingers pop into view. I was continuously surprised at how small the movement was.
Another fantastic video Nick! I spotted the use of the Chokamour chocolate box lid :-) Also spotted the left hand thread which must be a trap for young players. Masterful.
Loved the black polish. You do such a good job! If I did anything close I wouldn't be able to let go of the watch. I'd wear it everyday andjust admire the job I had done!
A tasteful and skillful restoration ... salvaging as much of the visible parts as you did gave this watch a wonderful visible impression. That, along it's new found internal precision, makes this piece one anyone would be proud to wear. Nicely done ... Cheers, dave
You are a master of the craft. I can't believe how therapeutic this was to watch. I'm thinking about getting my hands on an old pocket watch and start the learning process of this craft. You obviously make it look so easy but I know it isn't. I'm a little intimidated but I want to so badly bring back the beat of an old watch.
A great restoration. I am amazed at your ability to give these pieces a second chance of life for someone who I hope will appreciate it. Pardon the pun but you got it running like a Swiss watch. :)
Very good cleaning. It is surprising that you have original parts to replaced for, otherwise, such beautiful Swiss watches are turned into trash. There are hardly any meçhanics available now a days to repair such priceless Swiss watches. Keepon and rejuvenate such rare buties!
These videos never cease to amaze me. The music for one is brilliant and the restoration!!! Amazing work as usual from Nick and his professional film crew.Great production.Keep up the good work 👍
Do you actually make watches or it is just the channel's name?
I actually do make my own watches - see here: www.nicholashacko.com.au/
@@MasterWatchmaker Wow, great !!!
This kind of restoration will cost an arm and a leg.
The term watchmaker doesn’t necessarily mean he makes watches. You can get the title by doing watch repair
@@eazye619 Anyway he said he does make watches !!!
I like these restoration videos, there's no talking, just good jazz soundtrack. Like a dinner except with watchmakers restoration. as entertainment
Loving it. It should be considered a privilege to have such a restoration completed, by such craftsmen here in Australia.
Just amazing that a watch that has deteriorate over time can be returned to its former days, I have admiration for such skills and passing on your skills to your next generation, well done,
Thanks, Nicholas Hacko.

I love how you revived a timepiece from the past. I got teary eyed when you showed the before and after clip.
He revived the engineering, craftsmanship, and history that were put into that watch. You’re amazing!
Thank you for showing me the smartest way to reconnect the hairspring!! I have fouled so many, but not any more!
Not gonna lie. These are so relaxing to watch. Thank you for sharing. Only to wonder of the history of this timepiece.
Absolute masterclass in restoration. I like the the escape wheel has it's own bridge. Less nerve-wracking to get it set properly.
Fantastic work and watch , excellent save 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I started watching because of the title. Great stuff and the music is a pleasant addition
Nicely done. Oiling that dial side cap Jewel and flipping it over in one motion was art.
I KNEW it! So, glad you showed the replaced parts. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it. Postitively phenomenal job on this restoration as bad off this watch was. Two thumbs way up!

A true 'tour de force' to any watchmaker. Congrats.
A super job, such skill. Virtually a clone of my own grandfather’s watch, which incidentally still works. Thank you.

Great job getting that watch working again
Came here for content, fell in love with piano jazz and the excellent work. Take my subscription. I can’t wait for more videos and other content.
Very relaxing and satisfying. I'd like to have seen the engraving on the back of the watch. A story there.
So far as I can make out it says "To Jim, from Dad & Mum 25 Nov '34"
I could swear I saw that little watch smile at the end.
I would have loved to have a close up of the back, I caught part of the increption "Dad and Mom"... I'm sure it told a story. Graduation watch?
Well Done Nick! You are a true craftsman
The start of the video I Felt like seeing a James Bond movie. The music and the watch maker. Great job. I need this watch.

Nicely done, Mr. Hacko. Really like true vintage, and you didn't disappoint. Enjoyed the Rolex teaser, too. Good stuff all around.
Woah and the ending was like Star Wars. Great video and the suspense (Rolex) was mind blowing. I need the restored watch

Love to watch the videos with the great soundtracks!!!
Looks identical to my grandfather’s watch which I believe is a mid 1930’s watch. Lovely to see what it could look like. Thanks
That watch looks very much like the Swatch GX700 "Abatross" from 1987 that I still own, now I know where they got the inspiration.
Amazing restoration, thanks for share
