When she spoke about waking up from a nightmare and taking few minutes for the nightmare to go away by shaking around, that part shocked me, i didn't realise that for a long time about blind people awakening from a nightmare, my prayers are with this REMARKABLE, AMAZING young woman, God bless you my dear❤🙏🏽
This isn't true of all blind people. Since this person had sight, it makes sense. For someone that was born blind, that sensory processing will be different. Yes, waking up from a nightmare for anyone is scary, but coming back to the present looks different for different people. I am saying all of this as someone that was born blind.

i went blind for a couple of hours, all i knew my parents took me to the hospital. then magiccally my vision came back. doctors said i had hepatit-b and never heard about it again.
I don't even know what to say I'm overwhelmed with emotion I hope somebody reads this young woman these comments from the story because she's my hero. I suffered some catastrophic injuries from a car accident and they're nothing compared to losing your sight and she's inspiring me to do better and work with what I have been given and with what I'm able to do because she's doing so much more with so much less. People don't appreciate how much we depend on our Vision for everything and the fact that she's thriving and has so many goals has greatly inspired me and I'm grateful that I saw this story. When I got sick everyone told me I must be depressed, I had to be. It is not a mandatory thing, you can live life and be happy with a sudden disability. She really shows the truth in that.
People like this (not offending someone) with any kind of disability motive me give me courage to do things in life they prove that nothing in this world can stop you to do things that you love or want to do . I have a great respect and love for them. They are heros for me. ❣️

In such cases, high intraocular tension destroys the optic nerve head by compromising its vascular supply. In time, the picture of consecutive optic atrophy is seen by fundoscopy, and it is hopeless.

Just so you know jay youre an incredible woman if you can go blind and make it manage. Im sure thats not easy for anyone. Having a reality taken away from you seems too harsh. But the fact that you can manage through it say alot about your ego.
When something falls on your lap, you can't shove it away, so you deal with it. She did it wonderfully by adapting and practicing to get her independence, which is really important for self-esteem and mental health. I'm sure it wasn't easy, it must have been tough times, but she made it. I'm happy she has the support she needs to be the best version of herself, having support is really important in these situations, so please guys if it ever happens to you be in a situation like this with a friend, family member or community member, ask if this person needs you (don't go and do things without their consent!!! check if they need you and if they do, ask how you can best help them. it doesn't offend at all!)

I had something very similar happen to me from a bad reaction to medication. I got my vision back almost completely. I'll pray for you, and think of you. I'm so glad to see you flourishing. ❣️
Reading her history with frequent facial Swellings ( Edema ) and loss of taste and smell which exist mainly in the brain along with acute intra ocular pressure elevation that led to her blindness it sound like Multiple sclerosis especially that it showed two periods like relapse and remission so it could be a Multiple sclerosis variant with galucoma neuropathy that led her to lose her vision . Or it could be a whole new disease that involves the cranial nerves being attacked by the immune system or the neurovascular supply of the cranial nerves under the attack of the immune system .

this story is really personal to me as someone who is currently unexplainable loss of sight and no doctor has been able to tell why, the relief of knowing that I am not alone is unimaginable huge, to know that it is not just my mind playing tricks on me and that i still will be able to live my life
I am medically intuitive - the root cause of her blindness is a high level of a parasite which was not picked up by standard testing. If she wants to work with a root cause practitioner who muscle tests, she may be able to see some improvement in her condition 💕
