      artmanjohn2: I am here, too. In San Antonio, which isn't really bad yet, unless you count the total lack of toilet paper and milk. If we had an active mob presence they would be hijacking 18 wheelers of Charmin. There is price gouging. A 12 pack of Angel Soft that I paid $7-8 a month ago is now $19 from HEB. Quoting on line prices. I have my groceries delivered. We are all on self isolation and have been for awhile. Which doesn't bother me. I have many books and have no problems rereading the ones I like; I also have many DVDs I can rewatch, especially my collection of British detective series, my favorite is The Last Detective. I get fresh air and exercise walking my dog several times a day. Good health to you.

    I only hope our government wake up & realize what we have to do now..
    Be more reliant on our country. no importing oranges or any food we can grow here..
    Make Australia great again by opening up more jobs , How?, start new factory up also looking after the farmers....etc.
    STOP SELLING AUSTRALIA NO MORE SELLING TO foreign people ...
    They own so much of Australia..

    Coughing in a tiny room with air conditioner can spread 4 to 5 meters. That is main reason Asian people wear masks to protect you and themself.

    • @loditx7706
      @loditx7706 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doogie Chen The masks most of them are wearing protect others from them, but do NOT protect them from others. The mask keeps droplets from sneezing and coughing from spraying on others. The droplets expelled, however small, contain the virus, which others may inhale. The virus itself can go right through a paper mask and infect the wearer. One needs a mask labeled N95 to keep a virus expelled by others from reaching them.

    only a handful of people wear a face mask and there is still a prejudice on the people wearing a mask, it is just ridiculous. and the government urges the people to stay at home, social distancing and no gathering but never heard you must wear a mask when you go out for the essentials...Australia needs more education on covid-19 from top to bottom!

    • @AllThat-Is
      @AllThat-Is 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Al Pal they are not completely useless when worn outside near people who have been a little reckless. Even a washable cloth face mask will prevent some covid-19 containing droplets from landing on your body.

    Does John Fraser have a gofundme or similar to raise the required money? I see that local businesses have given him some of the money, but I'm sure if he opened it up to the public he'd get the remainder of the funding. Anything we can do to understand it better is worth doing.

    Don’t agree the dad should discuss his possible dying, plus his will with his 9 yr old present. Not age appropriate discussion, he doesn’t have the virus and the child isn’t old enough to process this unlikely hypothetical. It will cause him unnecessary anxiety.

      I disagree. Both my parents died when I was a teen - mom of cancer when I was 13, dad of a heart attack when I was 19 - it would've been much better if adults had talked to me and prepared me and told me who I could turn to. Leaving children ignorant is not the way to go.

    A good reporting story at this time would be about food production and supply to give the public confidence that if the pandemic does not kill us that we will not circum to starvation, and as these are fragile times for our immune systems, a report on the 5G rollout and towers should not be emitting any high intensity microwave frequency that will with proven statistics be harmful to our immune systems as we need to fight this invisible enemy we will need a strong immune to do so, downgrade to 3G just to be sure.
