The reason some Canadian ones weren't in the cards is because they are territories, not provinces
3 of ‘em
drew needs to listen
Did I miss Newfoundland or what?
@@Viscalisyes
@@Viscalis newfoundland was dogs
I’m from Wisconsin in my 20s and genuinely just learned last week that it’s illegal to walk outside holding/drinking an open container of alcohol in public. It crazy that it wouldn’t faze anyone here if you were doing that
wait, you're breaking the law? mindboggling...
@@pixelnazgul my friend told me that’s where the image of a man drinking from an alcohol bottle but it’s covered in a paper bag came from
Bro wisconsin has a lot of weird laws and I know by living in it
@@julieschubert7418 former NYC resident, yeah man thats exactly it. Can't tell you how many times me and my friends had to hide our bottles from police/karens
@@W0o0o0o0o0W I’m so used to every year at the town fair showing up and everyone within a mile is holding a blue can of bud light lol
Let’s all agree you only watched this video just so you can see what Drew’s says about your state
yeah
It’s sad tho because he used chi-town to describe my state
After watching this video, I've now decided to use the word "ignorance" to describe California.
😂
As a Floridian, chaos is my grandma and uncle’s middle names. Every year we have thanksgiving, the gators are invited because the turkey is actually somebody’s face that was surgically removed
😂😂😂
Cool
Am also a Florida man
Drew: I dont want to generalize a state off of one city
New York: Buildings
But it's not nyc, and that's what he meant (at least it seems like)
He's not wrong though. A lot of major cities upstate have hight buildings, and Long island.
But most of New York State is rural. Very beautiful.
@@lisaspikes4291 fr tho
@@kggaming792you mean like every major city in America?
As a person who lives in Iowa we are known for corn. it’s very easy to be driving on the countryside and see TONS of corn, it’s crazy.
I know we have more than nebraska
@@Brayden-wr7oxno, Iowa is first in producing corn and pork
(I think in the world too)
As an Atlantic Canadian, I'm just glad we weren't forgotten this time. 😄
You’re happy you’re included in a list of “Every US State”?? Might want to rethink that. 🇨🇦
@@whatifschrodingersboxwasacofin Well, it is better than being totally ignored as they often are in Canada.
as a european who has been to america for 2 weeks one time in one state i can confirm this is accurate
Where did you visit?
Have you ever LIVED here?
@@DPWLVr no lol
@@LowQualityPillow So how are you able to confirm this?
@@DPWLVr thats the joke. i was making fun of the people who respond like that because i am absolutely not qualified to confirm it
Drew is very controversial when he names the title AMERICAN states in one word and he includes canada
Canada is truly the calmest american state
do you mean northist Dakota the 51st state
well... turns out America is a continent and not a country.
@brunolima7402 Lol, you do realize he drew wrote US in the title, right? (Not trying to start and argument)
Lol
Sad that Puerto Rico was not included. As retribution, petición para que Drew revise las banderas de los 78 municipios de Puerto Rico, día 2.
pr no es un estado
@@irian3x3 Baby Patrick
Puerto Rico is a US territory, not a state.
@@ItsMeAttilaGameplay2018 me fr
I’ve been there. So i know that the majority voted to be a state but the bill never got signed
As an Oregonian, trees really only describes the valley. Like half of the state is a dessert.
10:43 the funny thing is that Fargo was shot in Alberta not Nebraska
Dru needs to learn some Canadian history 💀
Because it explains a bit of US history as well.
@@theoneshallnotbenamed not everything is about the US
Can’t blame him really. The US school system doesn’t focus on it. Can’t speak for all Canadians but I know I learned a little about US history in school.
Bro that is the best idea I've ever heard
stole land from natives, did nothing with it, begged america to save them cuz they have no army.
end of story.
You should include every state in Mexico too. Also every county of Great Britain. Hell just do every province of every country 😂
168 hour long video
He’ll have to get some weebery to describe the Japanese prefectures.
How about Australian states?
That’s gonna be part 2
Every state in Mexico I think of the word "drugs" or "cartel", or "border"
Alternative title: Californian destroys the braincells of people from other states.
Saskatchewan getting a huh? Definitely describes the province best
Drew, about Pennsylvania: “Steelers are the first thing that come to my mind.”
The Eagles have left the chat.
As a Pennsylvanian, I kinda expected amish, but steel is quite fitting. Good old Pittsburgh!
I always think Hershey and/or coal for some reason.
Yea Between New York and Ohio there's a shit ton of Amish but I said Hershey Park for PA
As a Pennsylvanian the first thing that popped into my mind was “broken bing bong”
I mean drew didn’t put “gambling” for Nevada so that’s good
(Taxless is kind of true, at least)
Go to British Columbia, it's the the most similar to California but way more mountains and a bit colder.
2:50 it's been a minute? sheesh drew i didn't know you were one minute old.
7:16 Canada is probably way more expensive than California
Nah Alaska in summer is usually 3 things Rain, Cancerlifornia Heat, both
Winter 2 things
Windy Cold or Black out Cold
As someone that moved in new Brunswick (not of my free will) a few years ago here few things about it, french people that are in Louisiana lots of them come from new Brunswick and were moved by the British, another fun t hings is that it is often compared to... Alabama in the US for the you know Habsburg things.... yeah we got one in Canada.
Drew the state you called Yukon was Actually Nunavut
Not states territorys
As someone proud to call the Canadian Atlantic my home I can confidently say PEI can also be summarized with Potatoes.
Red dirt also.
I'm from South Carolina. You could put "war" for the start of the civil war or "antebellum" for the southern way of life, or "history". Just a couple of suggestions.
Nova Scotia, I would put "Titanic" because that is where a lot of the bodies are buried.
North Carolina is "blue" because of Duke and other colleges are all blue
Oregan is "Goonies"
Maine is "lobster"
Bro did not just call Utah “really flat” 💀
Utah literally means “people of the mountains” bruuuuh
My words (never been to USA)

Finally someone who recognizes the Vermont Republic
As a Georgian, I was expecting peaches, but what you said is better.
Where's Pennsylvania?
@@chim-chimkerfuffles9612he could say annexed by New Jersey and Ohio but that's not one word
Why did you think of Grapes for NH? Just curious because we're most known for apples or pumpkins.
As an arizonan in arizona, hot is an understatement 💀💀💀
13:08 man you could write Gravity Falls and it would be perfect
As someone from Vermont, you're not wrong
As a Wisconsonite I feel offended you didnt include Root Beer
As a Wisconsinite, I'm just glad he didn't say cheese.
Alcohol is a good word but bratwurst or ranch would
have been better words in my opinion. Root beer is a good
word too but it probably counts as two words.
As a Saskatchewanian I am offended that you think it’s wrong pronunciation.
As a person who has gone to Prince Edward Island many times I can’t believe that Drew forgot about Anne of green gables like thats the one thing they are known for
😅
your not gonna believe this... but i told forgot about that
What about PATATOES
Red sand as well
As someone who’s lives in Indiana I can confirm we really love basketball. A lot people have basketball hoops in Indiana. And 12:41 is true
Hey, as a Canadian, i would just like to say that Saskatchewan is acuallly not that hard to say. If you want to say it, just say SAS-CATCH-OO-WAN
I'm American but I agree with you. It's pretty easy to say.
As a Native Louisianan I can say that in Southern Louisiana has *WAY* more French influenced than Northern Louisiana. (where I’m from.)
What's the north like?
@@CineMasterDamian Steel Magnolias?
As a Pole in New Jersey, yes, Newark Airport is hell
For Prince Edward Island you could have said the very famous Canadian book Anne Of Green Gables which takes place in PEI. Or you could have also said lobsters as PEI has a lot of lobsters
And potatoes.
as a nevadan im surprised that he didnt say something like "casinos"
Maybe you could do a series of videos on the different provinces and states of other countries, and then afterwards do one of these
As a Marylander, I took this personally
Second state is mine and as a South Dakotan I see all these cities in my memories Sioux falls water town Brookings Rapid city and so much more!
If you go to Québec I recommend Montreal because they are more bilingual than other parts of Québec.
My mom is from Québec but she moved away because she doesn’t speak french due to childhood disabilities.
When she went back she was refused service and and ignored by airport staff until she said she wasn’t from Québec.
I love my québécois Canadian brethren but some of them can be quite rude if they think your from there and don’t speak French but most of them are cool people
AND all of Quebec ISN’T an American State and has no business even being mentioned in a video listing “Every US State”. Have some patriotic pride. Heaven knows Americans ooze the crap. 🇨🇦
Most of the potatoes come from really big areas of land and the land is perfect for potatoes and it is to cold to grow a variety of fruit so yeah that's why we love potatoes so much
Drew: I look like a psycho
Us: and that's why we like you
As a Washingtonian we are in fact depressed
Drew writes his S's starting from the bottom ? Ultimate Chad move
Nova Scotia is canadain Florida. Try an change my mind
We got all the boats. And all the googains(uneducated boaters-weekend warrior types) and were are surrounded by water, and the most south eastern peninsula of our respective countries
Good food, deesent hotels and beaches as a tourist trap.
People flock here in the summer
And flock there in the winter
And a average boat price is in the 100's of thousands or in the millions
And we all drink like fish
Yes Michigan is unique because we have technically 3 peninsulas, but we are known for something even better than that: Cars. We made it so cars can be manufactured quicker and we are still the number one car making state. If it wasn't for us, modern cars, wouldn't exist.
Being from Alberta it really is the Canadian Texas
As someone from.illinois there is nothing but farm land and everything but Chicago and their capital(even i forget) is just CITIES there
When you got South Carolina, the arrow you made points scarily accurate to where I live.
As a person in Massachusetts i can definitely agree that people that r born there are really smart if ur lucky enough
10:52 the fact that drew didnt think about the giant cow statue is a crime
I would love to see Drew do this for the internal divisions of other countries, like Australia, Germany, Russia and Brazil for example.
If I described florida in two words I would say ”theme parks” mostly because Disney, universal, Busch gardens, Seaworld, others
Drew for something about Delaware, more than half of all US based corporations are incorporated in Delaware for tax evasion purposes
as a steeler fan i see this as an absolute win
I can’t believe he associated Nebraska with corn and not Iowa saying it produces more than Nebraska
As a British person I have no idea what you’re saying about the states
(cool fact) so I live in CO. and I live by a bunch of potato farm's and there's a company that's called Idaho potatoes. they ship potatoes to guess where, Idaho. we do produce a lot of potatoes like a lot a lot. anyway have a good day/ night
As someone from south carolina, I can confirm we are indeed south of north carolina.
Massachusetts largest export is medical equipment and it has a massive healthcare and biotech industry.
As someone from Arkansas the only thing about Arkansas is Walmart
I am a Canadian and I would say that the Huh? for saskatchewan is correct
I didn’t know New Mexico was known for their Maths, I hear they know numbers all the way up to 420… impressive!
as a canadian, I can name some fun facts about each province AND territory:
Sask: They got a lot of UKRAINIANS
Manitoba: There's so many lakes there, it looks like wet cheese
Ontario: we got METAL... TONS of Metal!
Alberta: (Drew already knows this but) NO RATS
PEI: they fish... A LOT
Newfoundland: Crazy accents live here!
Labrador: Have a rivalry between both Newfoundlanders and Quebecois
Quebec: Largest population of Catholics
New Brunswick: Has mountains and crazy french accents
Nova Scotia: Means "New Scotland" in Latin
BC: Lots of people live on the Coast instead of inland
Yukon: Gold
NWT: there's a memorial lake dedicated to indigenous slaves
Nunavut: The province that shares Hans Island with Denmark
Saskatchewan also has a lot of Philippines
SASS-CAT-CHUH-WON
Another amazing video and play countryball at wars
As an Illinoisan I think you should've put BEAN referring to the Large Reflective Bean in Chicago
5:52 bro knows my location 💀
I live in Saskatchewan and HUH describes us pretty well.
We have nothing here.
It's just empty farmland
You've got Brandon Tenold
I am from florida, it is amazing down here. You are right about the fact that fl is very culturally diverse
The names that you named on that states was soo funny😂💀
"Describing US States"
*Also describes Canadian provinces*
You should do this again but with capitals (including territories and D.C)
Louisiana was also conquered by the Spanish and that’s where rot iron comes from, not France lol also it’s more of a mix of Spanish and France so you could also say something like francospanish
i'm Nebraskan and only the Panhandle is flat, nothing else
for me, Pennsylvania would be like Steel, Aluminum, Manufacturing, refineries, labor, something along those lines
Eskimos live where you put "nobody" in Canada.
Yukon - gold, for their gold rush in the 1800s
NW Territories - MacKenzie, the main river in it
Nunavut - Inuits, the Eskimos
For NW territory I think of Yellow Knife because it sounds so random
Wow honestly not surprised with what you put for my home province, even Canadians half the time forget we exist
As a native South Dakotan I forgive you for not not knowing our capital but knowing Sioux Falls is awesome!
litterly just got back from north carolina we went to the outer banks and I already miss the sunny warm beach (its raining here rn)
As a Qubecian person, I confirm we live in the US.
Edit: I'm actually british so this is a joke
It's just canada, we're very similar.
1:20 every Eagles fan (including me) probably felt at least a little bit of annoyance. At least he didnt say the Liberty Bell like most people lol
Next time put Lincoln-Douglas debates for Illinois
"nobody for Yukon" writes it on Nunavut
As a Wisconsinite I can agree even tho I am only 18
I live in CO and all I know is we have really good rainbow trout fishing and jawbreakers are really expensive
I live in the same state, that’s actually so crazy
As someone from BC we have the second largest china town in North America after San Francisco. We also have some religious cults in the north of BC. I’m pretty sure we are the warmest province, the coldest I’ve ever seen in my life is -17c which is nothing compared to the -40c some parts of Canada like Manitoba get.
Can someone please tell me what this man uses to make these maps.
Arkansas is the Switzerland of United States
Silent.
I’m Alaskan and our summers are amazing but HOT and it actually starts snowing in October
16:07 i thought he was gonna call them provinces but he called them states.
I was showing my mom your videos explaining why I loved geography, and she thought you're cute.
I'm obsessively impressed at how you write with the paintbrush. It would just be scribble if i did that 😅
New Brunswick is the depressive province and PEI is a ontarian summer resort or Potatoes or even maybe Anne of the green gables
