The Beach Boys have tapes in their music vaults of Manson recordings locked away that were done at Brian’s home studio. They only changed ceast to exist from the lyrics,the rest of the song is as Manson wrote it,I have no doubt that this was the reason Manson sent the psychopaths to kill Melcher,It affected Dennis for the rest of he’s short life,the Beach Boys still went on to make great music afterwards.
Remember the Beach Boy's Father sold off the copyright to the biggest hits of the band in nineteen sixty eight without the band knowing about it . That must had made an impression on the band and how they treated Charles Manson. Through Denis Wilson's involvement with Manson in the first place and others like Terry Melcher.
This story could be a perfect Quentin Tarantino movie, unfortunately, he already told part of it in “once upon a time in Hollywood”. And he captured that part of history in Los Angeles so well that I don’t think anyone can touch the Dennis Wilson Charles Manson story for 20 years. He would be the Director. I would want behind the story, but it’s never going to happen, way too close to his last film.

But it is well known that Manson knew that Melcher had moved out. Manson even came to the house and met Sharon Tate in spring 1969.

This is the first time I've heard any of the beach boys cover of cease to exist. I don't like the style very much.
