If you have thought about these and watched the video and are still umming and ahhing I can say that they are worth it. I got a pair for Christmas and tried them out last week in Sauze. While not cold weather wise my feet were still very cold in the mornings so I wore them all week. As Steve says they do not keep your feet hot they stop your feet from getting cold. I had perfectly 'not cold' feet all week. Switched them on at about 10am (it was a lazy trip) on setting 3 which is quite low and the battery only just ran out about 4pm. One morning I forgot to turn them on and by the time I got up the mountain my feet were freezing. Popped them on and within 5 mins my toes were not cold any more.

Lenz makes about 10 different models of heated socks. Which ones are these?

If you checked the pt. 2, it shows these are the Lenz 4.0 socks.
