For what it's worth, regarding the heating elements on top of the sock. This is where your veins are running through your feet closer to your skin, you're then heating not only the skin of your foot, but your blood flowing through your body somewhat as well, which could help your feeling of overall warmth.
Great job reviewing the socks. Especially liked the FLIR coverage of the tips of the socks and the duration test. Also, if you do more in the future, its nice to see how high up they come and where the battery is placed. This is important if you wear ski boots or such.
Great Video! Just got the Evofash Heated Jacket, and I can’t believe how warm it keeps me in the cold weather. Super lightweight too-perfect for outdoor adventures!
Exactly the video I was looking for. Great job and thank you. I’m a hairstylist in San Diego. The floors in the salon are stone. Even though the heater is in the salon and I have a pad I stand on, my feet get so cold. Im going to buy snow deer and Mr warm. And thank you for the links. Saved me a ton of time searching! Great video 🎉
I own similar models to the viceplus and autocastle. For the autocastle, I initially thought not having the warming element on the bottom of the toes was going to be a deal breaker, but as long as you are wearing boots, it still keeps the toes warm.
Thanks for this useful review. 1. Do you know how to wash this kind of sock without breaking the electrical heat things inside? 2. Are they all free size?
Are any of them rechargeable from 12v? I'm in the field for 10 days when deer hunting and only have access to 12v solar which I use to charge my iPhone.
Very informative. Four years ago, I bought a pair from Amazon for $37. All of the ones tested here are probably better. The ones I have are just barely adequate, but I'm too stingy to replace them.
They all looked pretty tight on your legs. Do you mind giving a circumference measurement around your calf and shoe size? I've tried a couple of pairs of heated socks in the past and they wouldn't fit over my foot and looked like they were made for a 9 year old girls calves.
having to work outdoors in Wyoming where it easily hits -60f, ive found its my toes that are impacted most by the cold. im thinking viceplus would be my choice. even low heat would make a world of difference in this extreme cold and to monitor the setting from my phone would be extremely convenient. winters almost over now. steady 30f most days so this will probably be a purchase i make towards next winter.
Opinions from anyone: Regardless of the brand, would you say that because heated socks require you to wear the battery pack, are they comfortable enough to sleep with/lounge in? I understand they're probably more directed to winter sports and activities, but are they uncomfortable for just being around the house? Also, are they easy to wash? Thanks:)
@gracewilcox9117 I use heated socks solely for lounge purposes and they are great. I'm actually wearing a pair now while I lay here and watch tv. They are especially nice on the airplane!
I like your videos. One thing I noticed with this video, is the audio. In certain scenes, your voice is much quieter than the other louder scenes. Regardless, thank you for your videos appreciate it I love flashlights, much as you do!
Firstly, how would you like someone shooting at you when you're unarmed - as a veteran, I didn't like it. Secondly as a supercilious wart, you're de facto uncapable of realizing you are one. HOWEVER, conducting an extremely methodological comparison will benefit millions of people with Raynaud's.
This video review is WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! Exellent job with ACTUAL TESTS THAT MATTER! Make more videos my friend!

This is the Best review on TH-cam of heated socks I have seen. Thanks for your input and time.
I'm sorry if you covered this, but what setting did you have these on for the battery life test? (HI, med lo)
Yes, I was wondering upon this too.
can you give an update for longevity since this video? any warranty type contact w/companies you needed ? thank you.

I work construction (TN) and it’s getting cold 🥶…😂
When you touch them, they're like "oooh!" This should be the professional standard for review of the highest standard.
Yes. Ur awesome too on taking note of that. Lol
Well done,
Best electric sock video out there and it really helped me choose.. Great job
Unit of capacity is Milliamp-hour, not milliamp. Milliamp is a unit of current
Were the socks at the lowest or highest settling for the test.
are they washable ?
Thanks for this useful review.

what i do in the winter is that i just remove the sole pad in the shoe so i have room for extra thick socks lol
Great review! Thanks

Matt that's an amazing test. Well done. Unfortunately I'm in the UK and the brands over here are different and I can't find the Vice Plus.
I like your style. Do Heated vest or pants please it's getting cold.

What were you a veteran from?
My grandfather used electricity to cure a leg problem in the 1950's. These socks could have come in handy.
