Telemonitoring System

This video describes the in depth concepts of telemonitoring system used in our mines.
Telemonitoring system is a DGMS approved arrangement used for the continuous monitoring of mine environment. I consists of 4 main parts: -
1. Sensor unit
2. Output Station
3. Transmission cable.
4. Computer unit at the surface.
telemonitor analyses the different types of gases, temp., air velocity and humidity in the mine.
The most important feature of the telemonitor is the AVA, i.e., audio visual alarm. As soon as the gas percent reaches the TLV; the telemonitor starts to give an alarm and immediately cuts off the electric supply in the district.
