Not entirely true, while yes it has better thermals than the 2A5 and 2A6 it also has a worse round and worse armor, also no spall liners (in the turret), so it's very much not P2W or anything. 👍
I disagree. It’s not that great. It’s like the Leo 2PL in most regards, with less turret armor. Most tanks can cleave through you at 11.3-11.7. I can get basically the same experience from the M60 AMBT at 10.0. Great round and thermals, good mobility, trash armor.
i have noticed that they have fucked the sounds up this update. Engines are super hard to hear and its hard to hear enemy tanks firing past like 400 meters
I’ve lost track of how many type 90’s have just shown up 20 meters behind me completely silent, it’s so stupid. And hstvl has no engine sound anymore so the rats got more ratty
I'm so sick of top tier premiums they are ruining the game. I'm waiting for a Swedish 11.3 to be added to ruin their win rates as well. Germany and Sweden used to rule, now there's an entire 10.0 Swedish lineup of premiums and Germany's top tier is gonna be ruined unless you have a 12.7 jet in your lineup. You'd think they would playtest their new audio but they apparently haven't. Audio is in such a bad place right now and they keep messing up their game. How long is it going to take to increase the ground BR cap a few brackets? It should be at 12.7 at the MINIMUM. Yes, I understand that this sounds like a rant from a bigoted meta-chaser. I am only this mad because I have put too many hours into the game to be complacent whilst Gayjin ruins it.

This update is a joke to be perfectly honest. The sound is ruined, damage models are shit and the game is super buggy. Russian tanks have gotten even more broken damage models that has armor that seems harder to pen and shells dont do shit for damage. As usual, russian ammo doesnt detonate when being shot, but its worse now too. Good job Gaijin.

It’s armour is paper mache I’ve had machine guns tear up my left side and track. It’s really not very good the OES is honestly better if you play it right
As they should. Just needs more premiums like spaa so ppl can have balanced lineups faster. Sorry but most non premiums at high tier are just as stupid in my experience or have a lineup and ignore spaa and just care about stealing kills for kd
I have russian tanks on 11.3 and planes on 12.7 so i guess i picked russia when i started because my friend told me they were good. It's just chill to play. You can hold W and half the players don't know the big weakspots for some reason and just bounce then die. (I also have switched to Japan for a while, got them to top tier)
I don't get why people say this is such a good tank.. Comparatively the Clickbait outperforms this thing in most aspects... This is basically a leo2a4 with KE-W and more weight and gen 2 thermals, but it still doesn't justify the 11.3 in my opinion... Every time I see it I kill it without no problem
Well yes, they need to make money, but we also should call them out on their predatory ways of getting said money that reduces the quality of the game for us

At least it still has the 2A4 gunner sight weakspot so you actually have a chance to pen it when it's hull down unlike the 2a5/6/7. Also lol I love how he complains about everything and blames his team. LMAO REVENGE BOMBING TOO!
you can shoot it anywhere on the turret even when it's hull-down... This thing has no armor whatsoever, 450+ pen rounds can go through the thickest part of this tank
@@adamberes1246 interesting, I thought the cheek wedges were like on the 2a5/6/7 where it makes the turret absurdly strong. I've honestly never had to shoot a 2a4m in the turret yet. I haven't even encountered them that often either but when I do I usually get a clean shot at their hull.

I think with the T90 shot in the breach he seemed to turn just as you fired, not sure if that would of caused issues, I've had it happen on other tanks, on my side I hit the breach but on the hit indicator he had turned his turret at the moment I fired. But as a sound Dev myself there are numerous issues with the audio in the game, Engines being one of the most inconsistent issues.

Honestly this tank is amazing at 11.3 the sabot round penetrated everything.
