    This is probably my favorite CNA video out of the hundreds that I've seen thus far. I will be working on a med-Surg floor in a hospital and I was also given the 7p-7a shift and I'm very excited! You covered a lot of information and presented a lot of what the work entails, thank you.

      She’s not a CNA! PCT get paid more than CNA’s and PCT’s can do phlebotomy, unlike an CNA, that’s the difference!

      PCT is CNA now or it’s two different things 🤷🏾‍♂️ just asking

      It's two different positions but they do have some similarities. Both usually at least require a CNA certification. @AnflanneurProduction

    I just recently got done with school for pct in I was wondering like Is it hard at the hospital being a pct

    • @itsKaCee_
      @itsKaCee_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It’s not hard, some days are busier than others. I was in the emergency department but there are also PCTs on the floors (med surge). Their routines were slightly different than mine.

    Hello! Just got my CNAs license a few months back. Were there things that you had to do at your hospital that your CNA program didn’t train you on? And if so how did you pick up those types of skills? Was the hospital helpful?

    • @itsKaCee_
      @itsKaCee_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hey, I did not complete a CNA program. I was trained as a medical assistant prior to this job, but they did train us on everything we needed to know.

    • @AnflanneurProduction

      You’ll have to take an EKG/Phlebotomy classes in order to work in Hospital and you’ll need the CNA certification as well.

    Where would recommend getting scrubs from?

    • @itsKaCee_
      @itsKaCee_  ปีที่แล้ว

      Any place that sell scrubs should have something you like. Walmart also sells scrubs. I typically use local resources. I haven’t tried places like Figs yet.

      12 hours only...ER shifts differ...some are 1pm to 1am

    • @itsKaCee_
      @itsKaCee_  ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically most shift are set for 12 hours in the hospital setting. But if you are prn you can potentially pick up split shifts.
