The game is a lot better then it used to be There’s an active lounge scene, clan war league and it partnered with the MKW and 8DX world cups and is running its own alongside it
Gotta say, this game is really fun to play with friends, and while less extreme than in mkwii, shortcuts are fun to pull off here! You should definitely do online rooms every once in a while!
Honestly you should ask for a collab, your chances aren’t great but your channel could grow thousands of subscribers as if it was another day in the office
This game has a lot more shortcuts than we give it credit for. MKWii spoiled us with broken cuts, but this game has a ton too, and they’re more balanced with better risk/reward distribution

Since I am competetive player in 200cc mk8d I must say I am impressed you can at least manage these cuts. They are not perfectly optimized done but you are doing p well for not being into that game too much. More mk8d and I am in!

You can actually do the piranha plant shortcut in Yoshi Circuit shroomless on 150cc. Charge an orange miniturbo coming out of the tunnel, then hop off of the red-and-white strip and fly between the piranha plant and the wall and land back on the other side of the road.

Rules: Speed: 200cc Teams: No Teams Items: Mushrooms Only COM: Hard COM COM Vehicles: Karts Only Courses: In Order Race Count: 48 Races (Starting with Mario Kart Stadium) Character: Shy Guy Vehicle: Prancer Tires: Roller Glider: Cloud Glider If there's so much as 1 race in a run on which you don't get 1st, you have to start over with Mario Kart Stadium. It was on about my 10th try that I finally beat this challenge. I'm not exaggerating. On the final run I beat the challenge in roughly 1 hour & 45 minutes. I didn't time it, but I know I started at roughly 10:30 am and ended at roughly 12:30 pm (I did take a roughly 15 minute break). I challenge you to beat this. Please make a video of you beating the entire challenge if you can. I'd like to see you beat it. For the Character-Kart-Tire-Glider combination, please use the exact names of the parts. I watch almost all your MKWii Videos however I have never played this game and I do it, because it is very entertaining. My game is MK8DX, which I play quite often and I wish you would have more content about it. These cuts are pretty obscure, I would personally recommend JPGivin’er’s shortcut tutorials and I think Mankalor has a video with almost all shortcuts. But I think those are just 150.
I didn't know there were this many shortcuts in mario kart 8. I always loved wii for it's broken shortcuts and while most of these aren't really broken they are still sick.
Similarly to Mario Kart Stadium you can do a glider skip around the final corner of Dolphin Shoals. Thought this was so neat when I did it messing around on 200cc! 👌
