I have hung whole chickens upside down with great results. On mine, the upper portion gets hotter than the lower portion which is why I decided to hang chickens upside down with a turkey fryer hook allowing the breast to cook a little slower.
Hey Tom cut & season two racks of babybacks in half hang bone side facing out makes the best crispy juicy fried ribs in less than a hour. Leave top off while cooking. Also flatten two pieces of pipe in the middle and make a tee or cross to hang the 4 racks facing bone out around the drum. Cooks anything you can hang.
Hey Tom. I had 2 Big Easys and I swear it put out some of the best smoke flavor that I can't seem to match with some of these other grills. Would love to see a comparison.
The hooks that you linked to are not the ones that you are using. Your hooks have the ends offset by 90 degrees from each other. Do you have a link for the hooks you are using in the video?
Thanks for Watching Marc! You are correct here’s the ones from Pit Barrel Cooker, www.amazon.com/Pit-Barrrel-Cooker-Stainless-Steel/dp/B0779DBD2N/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3SZLTP6HCMSR6&keywords=pit+barrel+cooker+accessories&qid=1639707854&sprefix=Pit+barrel%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-4

You are right! I always cook turkey and chicken with legs up. Works much better and breast is even more moist.
