Princess Charlotte was probably sitting there so proud and saying, "That's My Dad"...Thank you for sharing this video..Puts a smile on your face..
No, it was someone else flying the helicopter. They then stop filming at 1:20. Pilot gets out, William gets in and they continue the filming. William cannot fly a helicopter, it just more nonsense to feed the gormless flag-waving sheep.
No. It was another pilot who was switched to Willy. Before 1:20 they filmed behind a fence. They then stopped the video, moved in front of the fence, to enable the pilot to get out and Willy to get in. The flag-waving nutters will believe anything the "Royal" PR machine pumps out.
It speaks volumes to see William flying his own helicopter with family aboard. He’s the real deal for the Royals.
It's not William's helicopter. It belongs to a helicopter transport company called Starspeed that operates out of Fairoaks, near Woking. It is not clear from the footage whether the approach and landing was flown by William, or the captain of the aircraft - I'd be surprised if William has the necessary insurance to allow him to fly a charter aircraft, it's not something he does at all frequently.
Andrew flew them too, didn’t he? And Fergie. 🤦♀️
Yet if Harry, equally as good a pilot, pulled up anywhere in a chopper with Megan, he’d be slaughtered by the media as being too pompous or too needy for attention.
I thought that Her Majesty the Queen for safety's sake, did not want Prince William and Duchess Kate using helicopters so much, especially with the entire family on board.
@@scook5599 he only took Charlotte.
I had completely forgotten that he also flew Seaking MK41 during his Navy time. Really good approach and landing!
Prince William was also air ambulance pilot
He's never flown any helicopters. Show us an unedited video that clearly show Willy get into a helicopter pilot seat and taking off.
I'm glad to see that Prince William is still exercising his piloting skills and keeping his abilities sharp and up to date.
Yeah whilst lecturing to us about climate change. Folk like him, don't want us travelling by air in the future, to cut down on emissions, but rest assured, William here, will still be flying around in his private aircraft.

Of course William piloted the helicopter! He’s a superhero.

So neat seeing him still flying. And it's like seeing a pilot with pilot thoughts changing to Prince with Prince job to do. Nice that Princess Charlotte could fly and go with Dad.
I imagine that the princess is thrilled about the ride and watching her dad fly 😊

Don’t forget he also flew for London air ambulance flying the md902 explorer and the airbus ec145
To his credit, nicely flown approach & landing. From a B407 pilot...
So it should be, he was a fully qualified Sea King SAR pilot in the RAF and then flew Air Ambulances for a living. Off site landings are a pre-requisite for both those jobs
He used to fly casualties into London Hospitals sometimes. He did Air Sea rescues with the RAF in Wales and Air Ambulance in Norfolk.
This is a Bell 429 not 407.
@@jacquesraymond6892 Ja, I know Jacques. I own and fly a 407, the 427 / 429 was developed from the 407.

After flying for the emergency services, with serious unwell passengers aboard, he is very accomplished and he is also saving money by flying himself!!
Little Charlotte’s legs visible under the helicopter running to the car, so sweet! 😊
He's a good man and a credit to the country. It's a good thing he was born first and not his creep of a brother.

Why is Harry a creep ? What is your definition of the word creep ? If anything prince Andrew is a creep . You call him a creep because he Because he spoke the truth ? Harry is qualified to fly the Apache attack helicopter.

The helicopter has dual controls & while I accept William landed the thing, I bet the guy to his left is the pilot in command & has all the ratings.
But there is no compelling reason for him to maintain his license. Unless he flies regularly, another pilot would be a safer option.
The man has skills!!!
I was walking on the mall in Washington DC and this helicopter lands and out pops his dad The Prince of Wales who had been flying the helicopter. This was many years ago.
That police defender with all its blues on looks fantastic. I wonder if it’s used as a staff vehicle or for a police CAT unit. Great catch as always. And superb smooth landing by the prince.
