I wish they would not all fly on same transportation
Apparently they are not supposed to fly together but they still do seemingly despite the Queen requesting and reminding William. Definitely willian and George should not travel together. This is my understanding. They should be more alert after what Megan has allegedly said " we are one plane crash away from the throne". Does she know something that no one else knows about?
Public transport wd not have got them back to London in time for the evening Jubilee event where he was giving a speech.

Alledgedly, It was a present from ER on one of his birthdays.
I'm so lucky I can hear the helicopters coming and going and it gives me a since of appreciation for that maroon grasshopper bringing them home safe and sound.
I am just admiring the colour and design if this helicopter. It is a limousine with rotors.

What I love about The Queen, William and Kate and Anne Princess Royal is that they are a constant positive. They are dedicated and have never faltered. For me personally it is wonderful to see people who actually have dedicated their life to a job a Country. Not many would or could without loosing sight.

Last minute change / photo op to walk back to the palace rather than drive. Notice the detective radio to halt the vehicles when he exits the helicopter. Then they discreetly follow on afterwards. Also smart uniformed officer who salutes William as he passes. Don’t see British police salute very often.

the planes and helicopters used by the royal family are looked after by the R.A.F and are perfectly safe
Happy they have landed and are safe we wish them always. Just the perfect family that they are and we love to see them. They make it all worth it with their kindness and know they want to see the children.

@@mabear9238 Nothing about these 2 are down to earth. They use helicopters like Ubers. They have Nannies, cooks, maids, multiple residence, designer clothes and pay for nothing. William gets 3 or 4 million dollar a year allowance from his daddy and he’s paid for all of his sacrificial charity work from the Sovereign grant. For those of you who thinks he sacrifice where else could they work part time with an art degree and a geology degree and make the income they have.

@@dil2370 No I’m just a realist. He has been trending on twitter as the Prince of Pegging. Yes, I had to use google because I didn’t know what pegging was. It was so bad that people were using the hashtag to bring attention to their post that had nothing to do with him. Rolling Stones even wrote an article on it. He flying his whole team to the US to present an award that could have been presented in the UK. The UK has some of the worlds most picturesque countryside. He could have lowered his carbon footprint while highlighting and promoting the UK countryside. But he has to go to the US. It’s nice to fantasize but reality is he has done very little with his platform. He has only been a working Royal for the past 4 years. When he wed Kate they retreated to their country home where he worked as a part time helicopter pilot. He donated his small salary and collected a 3 million dollar allowance. Even the queen called him and his wife lazy.

It was a joy to see. he made A WONDERFULLY CONTROLLED AND PRECISE LANDING. Haz couldn't pass his flying test - but is anyone surprised by that? A US president is "landed" in a 'copter - has any of them ever flown the prezzy's 'copter in civilian life? Just asking.

William is a trained emergency pilot. He has to fly to keep his hours up for his licence. I’d prefer him piloting than many others.

A big NO from me!..... i d freak out, in a small copter with the deep height visible right next to my seat at the window..... i sometimes had to fly in these private planes with my boss when i was still working and i died a little of fear everytime and tried not to show i panicked everytime the plane took off, these small planes make me nervous, i trust the technology and pilot skills of regular passenger planes much much more! ..... However, if they fly only with RAF staff they re surely skiled and experienced pilots and the machienry maintained properly.

Windsor in Berkshire County to London is 45 minutes driving ? Why by heli ? and that extremly long landing and also the leaving was extreemly long.

The long landing period specifically for this aircraft is two fold, one is that it is weakest point in the flight, it is envisaged that an attack would occur at that point, which is why it lowers and approaches, BUT retains full power in case someone deployed a device or physically approaches it then it is immediately airbourne again, (you also see this on take off for the same reason: the flight gets to ten plus feet then lowers then raises swiftly, the reason again is it is presumed the attackers will strike then quickly fearing if they dont get it quick they will miss their chance etc). The second reason(in this example) is because as demonstrated here they want the aircraft door to open away from the crowd, the flight arrived in the correct format but facing towards ultimately where the cars could approach, they cant on the side it has landed as not enough room between the mowed pad grass and the longer common grass. It was obviously decided then on landing they wanted to walk as you see the protection officer (sharing co-pilot tasks like radio whilst airbourne) telling the cars of their plans. So the long winded procedure after approach was solely so the aircraft is between the public and HRH and effectively a barrier or protective asset if someone suddenly decided shooting the group was ideal
