Excellent!! This video is a summary of one of the most poignant examples given by Dr. Behe in the critique of Evolutionary theory. One can get lost in the layers and sub-layers of the evolution-creation discussion but Behe provides a clear incisive line of reasoning for intelligent design. Thanks and great work Dr. Behe!

It has been proven that if some of the proteins of the flagellum motor are removed, the motor still has a function. So much for irreducibly complexity.

brainsick213 I think you miss the logic of irreducible complexity. It assumes from observation that complex systems have multiple primary and secondary functions. The logic is that if one studies a complex system it must still function at every reducible step back to the most elementary units. If one step in deconstructing and simplifying that chain, shows the combined parts to be without a useful function, then the process of time plus chance and natural selection can't explain the presence of the final complex system. To refute the premise of irreducible complexity the burden of proof is not to show that after subtracting one reductionary step the system still has useful function,... but that at EVERY reducible step back to the most elemental unit, the combined elements have a useful purpose.
