Dinky restoration of Packard Clipper Sedan No. 180. 1958 Toy model cast.

The Packard Clipper was an exclusive Dinky model that was already supplied with a windscreen. As a typical representative of American cruisers, it was the prototype of several other models built on the basis of this car. In my film, I show an example of the similarity of lines and silhouette in another car brand. My model had a cracked windscreen, which was only suitable for moulding. I put new tyres on with rubber o-rings and painted the Packard in a two-tone shade of cream and red paint. I made the glass from PET plastic and extruded it using vacuum thermoforming. As usual, I made the box, modelled on Dinky's classic packaging. I thank you for watching the video, I publish car repair videos on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Dinky model was likely released in '58, but thats a '57 Packard Clipper (due to the single headlights in each fender). The '58 Packard Clipper had quad headlights (two in each fender). I'm very happy to see this model restored!
