theyre not the same person, not the same situation. PJ is a role player 10 years in, he's worried about a new contract! Udonis was around to get the last bit of the money that the heat owed him, they like to leave that part out
@@demikpre the fuck??? That wasn't it. The heat kept resigning him to 1 vet minimum contracts. He barely played his last 7 years in the NBA. NBA contracts only last 5 years and are fully guaranteed unless you do something illegal. It's like how Luol Deng was still on the Lakers books even though he hadn't played for them for 3 years.
The reason they kept him around was to be a vet to the young guys, so they knew what heat culture is. I'm pretty sure the heat would have signed him to another 1 year contract to beat Dirks record for longest player with 1 team but Udonis had enough self respect not to do that.
PJ should not be mentioned with Greak freak bro but if you look at what’s in front of you, which is PJ being told to go home, then you can’t argue with real life. Hence Gil is right.

Pat Bev was hated by everyone except Rockets fans back in the day. Then he went to the Clips, and was hated on by everyone besides Clippers fans. Then he went to Minnesota...and everyone started lookin at him differently like damn, I still kinda hate this dude but also he's kinda dope. Its like he's HAPPY every time he gets traded. And every team he's traded to, his teammates love him and the fans of that team love him. Dude knows he's always been a borderline NBA player and has always been very appreciative of every opportunity he has gotten. I have always rooted for him every since he left the Clippers (I'm a Clippers fan) and I hope he retires a Clipper somehow.
Pat Bev has way more opportunity than PJ. If Pat had over 30 DNPs, he would act the same way.

Look at his past few seasons. He’s been a starter on a teams that won a championship (Bucks), lost in conference finals game 7 (Heat), and lost in semi finals (Sixers). Now he’s the 15th man getting no playing time. Mind you this is after he signed a contract with the Sixers but was traded when he didn’t want to be traded. The same people griping about how he’s acting for being traded and stuck in a bad situation are the same ones complaining when players demand trades to get put into better situations for themselves.

The UD role is the best for a cat at his stage of his career. Guaranteed check, minimal offensive output required. Mentor the youth, police the locker room, be a constant source of information for the team to grow. Otherwise, you're not worth the time or money
