Another great video showing songs and an artist not seen before. Wes Buchanan visited England around 1968/9 and the two song he sings on here were released as a single. Wes, unfortunately never made much of a splash in his career. As for the song 'I'll Pray For You', it's a wartime one first recorded in 1941 and the most famous artists who cut the song were the Andrew Sisters in 1942. Marty was only 17 then, but the song must have had a lot of meaning for sweethearts and wives who were saying goodbye to their men who were being shipped overseas. Kudos to you sir, for bringing these precious appearances of the great man and it must be a thrill for all the family and family of not only Marty, but guys like Bill Pursell, Bill Johnson, Bobby Sykes, Don Winters, Jack Pruett, Henry Durrough and guest artists to revisit these shows and see them all in their prime.
