The man's got talent. Rythym games are one of those things where you get the people who can 99% Jordan, MAXX, BB Evolution, Scorpion Fire, Through the fire and flames, etc.... absolutely nuts.
7 keys can also somewhat represent a sampler board/MPC/MPD too... Japan developed those midi equipment and synthesizers as well (ie: Akai/Korg).. so I can see where they got the concepts.
i think your right in your thinking. it looks sped up. his hands are bluring strangely in the video. id say he played the song at a slower training speed. then speed up the video to match up with the song at normal speed. (i know some ppl are hella fast with these kind of games, but the video just dosent look right)
This game came in way before the "hero" series so try not to associate it as a ripoff of the recent guitar simulation music games. But yes, the 7 keys do behave as a keyboard on a synth.
rock revolution lololol But yeah Bemani FTW it's so much more satisfying to be good at IIDX then at is to be good at GH. And im not some random guy saying it, i consider myself to be fairly decent at GH with a bunch of FC's including some impressive ones like Six, IIDX is still more fun. :D
actually people can play these songs in about 1 month total time(note total, could take years if you rarely play.) You can really say if someone has no life based on seeing a game a first time. Some people say some Guitar Hero players have no life when playing any song on Expert regardless if its hard or not.
Almost non-existent in America. The new machine costs something like 15,000 dollars... so only big arcades will have it. Closes one to me is like.. 2 hours -.- Home version FTW.
i said blur. but what i was really focusing on was the top view. his hands look really jerky. like there not moving smoothly. move fast to a button, stop for a few a few milliseconds then move again. could just be the flashing lights i guess, giving a strobe light effect.
At least I've managed to get a C on this thing... without Random! Still, HELL did an impressive job. Nearly as impressive as his performance on The Dirty of Loudness 7k ^_^
Obviously you've never even tried Guitar Freaks. It may look easier just by having 3 fret buttons, but its strict timing and large scale of difficulty (1-99) surpasses Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero isn't really a bad game, but you can't compare it to ANY Bemani game in terms of difficulty.
Wait a minute... This is the Hyper chart! The Another chart is way harder than this. Not saying that this ain't difficult either. I can only A this myself.
you can see the stress in his hands, its not speed up. if it was i couldve heard it in the music, the notes are in sync with the song. only 1 thing to say, holy hell. but real piano version is harder not only 5 keys to press.
Everybody get this right, Beatmania came before the lame hero/rock band series. 1997, first release of Beatmania. hero series is similar to this... and guitar freaks and drum mania. also to mention, that these games are the most difficult and require the most skill and rhythm ever. NAmerican rip offs are nothing but kids toys compared to these games.
Activate Precision Mode? Uh no. How about we stick to the original formula of Guitar Hero. Timing notes takes almost no precision at all and overall judgement on hitting them is nonexistant. Scoring is based on hammer ons, whammy bar, and finding the right time to activate star power. I'm sorry it's just a type of scoring system I find unappealing. And if you actually played Guitar Freaks you wouldn't be comparing the two games in difficulty based solely on fret buttons. Oh wait a minute...

that was amazing holy cow wow !!!!! this has just changed my life
Sweet video, impressive and by far the best hand/score view combo I've seen!
7 keys can also somewhat represent a sampler board/MPC/MPD too... Japan developed those midi equipment and synthesizers as well (ie: Akai/Korg).. so I can see where they got the concepts.

i think your right in your thinking. it looks sped up.

(i know some ppl are hella fast with these kind of games, but the video just dosent look right)
ke pinche destreza mano!!!
This would be so incredible as a 10 footer DDR song... or ITG for that matter.
it isn't sped up, it's just from the camera not being able to keep up with the speed at which he moves his hands. motion blur if you may.
wow
OMFG
I believe that 5hinn402 summed up everything i was going to say. Holy fuck.
DJ Hell has one scary left hand there anyways that was good.

where are these machines?

This game came in way before the "hero" series so try not to associate it as a ripoff of the recent guitar simulation music games. But yes, the 7 keys do behave as a keyboard on a synth.

At least I've managed to get a C on this thing... without Random! Still, HELL did an impressive job. Nearly as impressive as his performance on The Dirty of Loudness 7k ^_^

A POOR doesn't break your combo. Only a MISS breaks it.
That was I said
u should do this...with one hand..
he's scratching.
He doe the 7k mikeymike Xp but then on Random

GH is harder for you? Wow. Took me a couple weeks to play expert.
Proof that robots live among us...
it's so flashy and fast!
With 7 letters? Then choose wisely. ^^,
Wait a minute...

You are A !!!! FREAK !!!!
Do it one handed.
Everybody get this right, Beatmania came before the lame hero/rock band series. 1997, first release of Beatmania.

......Stepmania cantr be compared to this, im sorry
sorry to give you a thumbdown, i pressed the wrong buttom.
all songs in arcade machine is that long, 8 minutes is too long to play.
Wow, you all think 7 key play is hard? Pfft.
I made a one key version, and I tell you, I will never get past the first 3 notes of any song.
get the **** out of here!
Activate Precision Mode? Uh no. How about we stick to the original formula of Guitar Hero. Timing notes takes almost no precision at all and overall judgement on hitting them is nonexistant.
