todays recipe is a very traditional Greek/Cypriot dish which has layers of wonderful flavours when all combined together makes a wonderful comforting meal , layers of aubergine ,potatoes and lamb mince work so well together !...i hope you enjoy this video and have a go at making this wonderful hearty mediteranean meal ! buon appetite!

ingredients :
450g lamb mince
2 aubergines
2 potatoes
1 can of chopped/crushed tomatoes
1 cup of red wine
olive oil
salt
pepper
2 onions
3 cloves garlic
half tsp cinnamon powder /stick
1/2 tsp oregano
half tsp nutmeg
2/3 cloves
2 bayleaves
1 tbsp tomatoes puree/paste
bechamel sauce :
1 cup of flour
cheese ( cheddar or any cheese )
2 egg yolks
1 cup of olive oil
600ml milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
half tsp nutmeg
half tsp cinnamon
