    Just blew my mind with the hot tip to switch to a Canadian provider for Canadian orders. Why didn't I think of that?! Game Changer! *chef's kiss*

    Mandy I am approaching my first 100 listings, Could you do a video on how to setup my menu on the left side of my store?

  • @lbfaith
    @lbfaith ปีที่แล้ว

    Can I suggest 2 videos: how to a/b test with the time blocks.
    And the other, updating listings based on keywords that work. Like 4-6 months from now go back into the listing and analyze it to be better. I would like to see the same listings you had in this series so it’s cohesive.

    Mandy, could you please go into how you switch an existing order from one print provider to another (for Canadian orders)? I've watched that section of the video several times, and seem to be missing a piece!

    Great video again,,Mandy! I have a question- I have plans for opening up a niche POD store selling apparel only to Dog owners. There are close to 150+ dog breeds in U.S alone. I checked out on Etsy and do see a LOT of stores selling apparel for dog lovers to the point that it looks like the dog owners niche is saturated not only on Etsy but other POD platforms like redbubble, teepublic and Zazzle as well. In this case, I was wondering if starting a store selling t-shirts and sweatshirts only to dog owners is a good idea currently? Or should I rather open a dog lovers store and sell all sorts of POD products like t-shirts, mugs, blankets, metal wall signs, phone cases,tote bags and other POD products catered to various dog breeds in this store? I have chosen dog lovers niche because of the large customer base and also the fact that I just LOVE dogs! I would really appreciate your response🙏❤️

    I love your channel Mandy and how straightforward and honest you are. I know you probably don't have time to reply to messages, but just incase you do - are you saying you don't send a thank you message to customers every time they order - is it just the message that is automatic?? The reason I ask is I spend so much time messaging customers that it takes up so much of my time I'm at the point of almost burnout. I love how you scale down the process but I would love to know the exact steps you take from the time a customer places and order to the time they receive it. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!! I am going to also watch your customer service video's again, the CS end can sometimes be scary and confusing.

      Oh no! Definitely don’t burn yourself out with customer messaging. In your settings there is a Message to Buyer section. Put all of your important “thank you” information in there along with the estimated processing/shipping times, and a kind reminder to leave a review if they love their product when it arrives (and let them know to reach out to you of they have a concern before leaving a review). Etsy will send this message to them along with their order confirmation. Etsy will also automatically send them a notification when the item ships, a confirmation when it gets delivered, and several reminders to leave a review. I literally do not send any messages manually unless I am responding to a message they send to me OR if I need to alert them to a delay or issue on my end. As a buyer on Etsy as well, I can confirm that as a customer you get more than enough communication about the order from the automated messages without the seller needing to intervene. In fact, I actually get super annoyed if I start getting a ton from sellers. I know they’re just trying to be thorough and helpful, but it can literally be too much 😅

      Thank you Mandy for such a detailed explanation. I literally spend hours messaging customers and I'm so tired - really I go to bed sometimes at 5am. I would love for you to do a video tutorial on this showing the process - I'm a visual leaner, lol - just an idea if you ever run out of content for videos. I love how you explain things, I tell everyone about your channel and the pockets of time - I wish I would have known this 2 years ago!! Your content is amazing, thank your for sharing your wealth of knowledge!!

    Thanks for all the great information.
    I unfortunately, fell victim to the ‘hiccup’ glitch between Printify and Etsy on my very first order. Etsy claims there wasn’t a tracking number and I failed to meet the ship by date. But it was there and it was actually DELIVERED on June 12th but in Etsy that order still says it SHIPPED on the 12th. As a result, my account was put on a Payment Reserve. I’ve had 5 orders since all of which have been fine. However, after much back-n-forth with Etsy support there’s no taking the reserve off. It’s there for 90 days. Frustrating. But I’m continuing to move forward. And now watch every order like a hawk lol.

    • @studiomdesignsco
      @studiomdesignsco  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no, I’m sorry that happened! Keep going, the reserve will pass and you’ll be ready for Q4! 💜

    I live your videos and are so helpful. Can you give advice on how to keep track of marketing sales. Such as how long should I have the Santa run for? Should I have my All of my products on sale. Are we strategic on what is on sale?

  • @tatianakolesnikov4573
    @tatianakolesnikov4573 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you send a replacement item to the unsatisfied customer, you will pay for the production and the shipping twice, in case you offer free shipping, right? However, the refund from Printify will only be for the damaged item. So, you will be paying for the replacement item out of your pocket. Is this correct or did i misunderstand anything? Thank you so much, Mandy!

    loving all the information thank you so much! I haven't open my shop yet honestly kind if scared Ill do something wrong. I'm the kind of person that has to know all the steps Ill need to take before moving forward. I have questions on how payments work between Esty and printify. when someone orders an item (not personalized) in Esty and Esty collects payment how does my pod supplier get paid ? does Esty automatically sent their cost to them before paying me or do I have to pay the supplier myself before the order is sent to processing? if so how does that work? I just don't understand how this works for a new shop owner. I know new shops get put on a reserve. thanks

    Hi Mandy! I’m hoping you can give me some advice about a question. I have POD products in an Etsy shop but am also going to in person markets this Fall. In your opinion, what is the best way to get physical products of my designs that I can have on hand to sell in person while still being able to make a profit? Thanks so much for any thoughts you have. I appreciate all of your information so much!

    Thanks for all the great info! If I’m starting to add personalized items to my shop would you recommend setting orders to manual instead of automatic? Just worried I’ll miss something if maybe a personalized and non personalized item are bought in the same order. Thanks!

    Hi Mandy! I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your amazing videos. They have been incredibly helpful, and I have learned so much from watching them.
    I have a question for you regarding managing multiple Etsy shops. I am curious to know whether you use any specific applications or handle it through different browsers. Additionally, I would love to hear about your experience managing your shops through the Etsy mobile application. Is it possible?
    Thank you! Keep up the fantastic work!

    • @studiomdesignsco
      @studiomdesignsco  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I have multiple Etsy shops. It's easier to manage on mobile because the seller app lets you switch between shops easily. In a browse you either need to log out and in between shops, or use different browsers (which is what I do) 😊
