I did that same climb and there was a rainbow inside the valley with the secret gravel. Leaving the gravel, when you start climbing and you see the little houses and the MASSIVE dam wall, just breath taking. That climb and the climb that starts at Manteigas are my favorite!!!

Majestic meditatively soundtracked views, despite the fog blanketing, what you know, would be there normally. Has to be frustrating !
Least you're not in Tampa, Florida, evacuating "Dodge" not knowing what "Milton's" going to "greet you with" on returning !
