After you read The Color Purple, I highly recommend also watching the movie - it's so impactful! Here are some super random and unintellectual prompt thoughts. Since your husband is a teacher, maybe a prompt to pick a book with his school colors on the cover or somehow related to their mascot would be unique-although depending on what it is you might run out of choices too soon to leave it in the mix. If you have an "owned" shelf on your Goodreads, you could do a random number generator and read the book that corresponds to that number (like book #73 on mine is No Land to Light On). Most recently released? Librarian or bookseller pick? A day of the week in the title? Celebrity book club pick (Read With Jenna, etc)? Cover colors that match what you're wearing? Something you wish you'd read in school but didn't? A book set in a particular country/continent or a location you'd like to travel to? I enjoy watching your game!
Thanks for watching, Jayne! And yes, I will have to watch the movie! Thank you for the prompt ideas! The random number for owned books on Goodreads is perfect. I'll add that one for sure!
Happy New Year! What a mix this month! A prompt I can think of is list all books you currently have on your Kindle and choose from there. I am doing that this year because I want to get that number down too. Hope that helps.
Lunar Love sounds fun. Looks like a wonderful TBR. I haven't read The Color Purple, but the movie I saw several times when I was younger and it had a big impact on me. Have a fantastic month.
You'll have to let me know what you think! I'm about 50 pages in and finding a lot of similarities to the Love Hypothesis. Can't tell if I like it or not yet!
Depends on which one... For the goodreads scroll, it is just the home page. I am adding a random # on Goodreads, and that will be for my entire want to read list. I think 😅
Prompt idea- has to have the letters “T” “B” & “R” in the title 😀
Love it! Thank you!

Your TBR game is my favorite part of the month!
Awww ☺ Thank you so much!
Pastel horror should be a category
I don’t know what this means! Hah
Love the new 2023 board, rules and new added prompts while still lots of the same ones!
You are really making your way through these videos!! 😊

Thanks, Whitney! Looking forward to watching your TBR game when it comes out!
Hooooray!! 2023 is here ❤.
I read Love on the Brain in December and it was so good!!
I'm glad you liked it. I hope I do too!
The Color Purple is so good! I hope you enjoy it :)
I'm sure I will! I know most people really like it. That was my easiest classic to pick :)
I love spinner wheels too :D
YES!
The Power of Habit was a good read.
That's great to hear! It's intimidating me for some reason - probably just the fact that it's non-fiction and I don't often read non-fiction.
@@BekahBooksandBujo It's really easy to read but I only still doing one habit which is making my bed in the morning.
@@polly2900 I finished it and found it SO easy to read! Loved it. Making your bed in the morning starts your day off right - good for you!
🎉 happy new year!! I’m also reading love on the brain this month!!

Prompt ideas: a book you wish you could be in, adaptation, a book you know nothing about, read a book from the year you were born.
Thanks for the ideas, Michelle! I do already have adaptation, but I think I'll add a book I know nothing about and a book from the year I was born.
Love this! For the goodreads prompts it is from your want to read list or the suggested page?

I think you should have a self care prompt.
So more of an activity than a book? Love it! Adding it to my list now :)
Not sure if you know but Ghost is a series of 4 books. I liked all of them, hope you do too.
I did not know! Is ghost the first?
@@BekahBooksandBujo yes
All 4 of them deal with issues kids have growing up.
@@teresamedeiros7312 I will have to check out the others if Ghost goes well!
sugar lips wonderful
Happy new year 🎉 I hope you enjoy all the books you read in January xx
Thanks, Chelsea!
