Now they release the red x? I like how they have original and “90’s vibe” colors for each blue and red. I like the 90s colors. The 90s red x reminds me of Nickelodeon.

Digimon X, hands down, is my favorite sub-series...theme....what it is called for Digimon. I pre-ordered both white and green on friday when i found out about the pre-orders.

Finished watching. Thank you for the excellent explanation! I think im gonna go for another two digimon run starting today on my v20. Longest I've gotten one to survive is 14 days, and I'm very glad to hear you can keep them alive by mashing! And I'm glad to hear that they beep when they poop (and poop less) because that was so annoying to have to remember to check every hour. And the freezer function will be a god send! These are so much easier and better!

Wow! I really appreciate the comprehensive review you gave in this video and that alone made me sad knowing that I missed the preorder for this device... I like almost everything about this V-pet but the battling system, maybe with actual hands-on experience I'll change my mind. If Bandai could bring back the US D-3 Digivice battling system into any similar V-pet that would make me extremely happy. Best regards!
Cold mode is an insta buy for me as is but the care feature adjustments make it that much better. I was trying to raise some ver 20th but when it started coming to work I had a hard time

Thank you so much for making and sharing this video. I recently got a Digimon X, but for some reason the instructions were only in French which I can't read, so there were plenty of things I couldn't figure out.
In December I picked up a Ver.20th, my first real v-pet. Today I finally got the last two evolutions I needed to complete the device (not including the eggs from connecting devices, since I only have one). I really enjoyed it, but now I'm so ready for PenZ and DMX to give me something more involved and complex.
Does anything happen when you complete all the evolutions?
There's much more depth to the X and PenZ models. I haven't touched my 20th anniversary Digimon since I got an X and PenZ. They're just too basic to go back to.

I got my preorder in. I also checked with GameStop and they don't have it listed in their system even though they do carry the 20th at my store. Best Buy is another option which I believe is listed on the Bandai US website.

Digimon has had a bit of a resurgence in the west recently thanks to the fantastic Cyber Sleuth games, its nice to see.

I've found your current guides around ver 20th, X & pendulum super helpful but I'm still really into the older versions like 1, v2, v3, v4, v5 & v6 so something on those would be awesome!

I'm nervous yet pretty excited to move from the DM20 to this b/c of all the new features... BUT THEY'RE COOL FEATURES!
Especially those cool battle cut-aways like at 18:01! That alone sells me on it. Only thing I'm really waiting/hoping on are more colors. Not that the ones they've shown are bad, they just don't call to me.

Cold mode is really a life saver, I've been sick for the past week and sometimes I just can't make myself sleep till 12:00 so I just plop Dukemon into the fridge and take him out when I'm feeling better. Totally worth it!

I own a version one Japanese original 2 version three Australian originals and 2 20th anniversaries aiming to have atleast one of every version as when I was little I had over 15 originals but slowly lost them over the years of childhood now Im an adult with no rules I love the nostalgia I get ordering and playing with the digimons I grew up with

Glad these are getting an English release. The roster was to minimal and didn’t have many Digimon I liked to justify the high price for the Japanese models. The X2 and X3 had great rosters and those prices were worth it to me. Especially the X2 who doesn’t want to play the villains.
Also dig the retro box design of the English X release similar design to the original bricks.
Just hoping for an English release for the X2 and X3 now so I can get more colors lol

The 20th have a freeze mode to. If you press the reset button you freeze it. Then you can choose load and recover the digimons
I preordered the rerelease of the japanese version last year and waiting for it to be delivered this may/june by my local shop.. the news drop about english ver broke me.. ( T.T)

Fantastic video as always! I had a question regarding sleep for the X. The DM20s had a nice feature where you could prematurely put the digimon to sleep and if it was sleeping by its bedtime, it would automatically stay asleep until morning. This was convenient for later evolutions that weren't sleepy until later times at night. Does the X have something like this? Seems that you can only freeze it if it isn't sleepy and then it would be stuck in the freezer until morning, thus halting its growth. Any advice?
No nap mode on the X devices, so freezing is indeed your only option. While this does halt your growth, sleeping on the DM20 also halted growth, so at the very least you're looking at evolution times on par with that device if you choose to freeze overnight.

Tbh, I was really wanting this one but didn’t want to pay the price of the few that were on Amazon. So I went with the 20th. I love it but am tired of all the pooping and was wishing for more. I did buy more so I could get my GraceNovamon and I was so proud until it died. I wished that there was something more I could do with it instead of clearing through all the battles and tag battles with Omnimon.
I was debating on getting this one but I might as well add another in my collection since I’m already getting the pendulums for Bandai US (still waiting...).
I feel like Bandai (or whoever owns them) could of done a few things with the 20th version so it wouldn’t be so bland and easy at times. Since they had these in the past and kept improving on them, they could of at least had a quest function or some battle unlock to get it going. I know there are many digimon on there but it’s better then the 15 battle requirement and being done. Or have the freezer method so you wouldn’t have to reset the device and mess with it later.
Anyway I’ll be getting this one since I have been wanting it and the features that come with.
I guess one question: is there anyway to keep your digimon evolving besides the freezer like your Zudomon on the old pendulum you have or do they just eventually evolve on the X?
You can throw a Digimon into backup to keep it in its current form, otherwise you can also freeze the one currently being raised.

I've had mine almost die twice. The first time was because I forgot to feed it before going to an award assembly got two awards and three scholarships btw. The second time was I could not find it for 9 hours it was hanging on by a fiber of thread it was on my top bunk.
I only found out because Amazon notified me that someone asked a question about this in their Q&A section.
When they come out I'm going to buy 5 of them lol 😂

I was on the bandai Japan site trying to order a medabot DiM card but it seems it's only available for Japanese residents as far as signing up. Have you heard if this dim will be available on the premium bandai sit for the US?
Honestly I doubt it, so you would need to use a proxy like From Japan to order it, which will be more expensive shipping-wise
