I was randomly looking up a V-Pet question the other day and I stumbled on a vpet Reddit post from like two years ago. The top reply was from you and you had a bunch of sources and info to help out the poster. And then your Pendulum Z video was super helpful when I was preordering mine from FromJapan, and I've been using the guides on your site while I've been running my version 20th.

Ah, Aegisdramon kept losing to Sleipmon, and I thought feeding him pills might make him stronger, so I gave him 100 pills. ^^;
He lost to Sleipmon and died.

Great video but it still didn't answer one very important question. How can I Giganitimax my Wargreymon. This is troubling me as I've heard about this feature since November but have yet to see it. Any tips?
I got my V-Pet 20th version 5 days ago, after my Betamon evolved into Numemon...(still processing that) Now i'm trying to make it digievolve into Monzaemon, and I've been batteling like crazy but I have a question, does the counter for the 15 battles reset after you have 15 and then it starts over or once you have done 15, you had your chance and you're doomed? Thank you!! Your vids and channel are really helpful!
Only the most recent 15 battles count, so if you have done 20 battles for example, the first 5 you did are no longer considered.

How to get rid of one of 2 digimons that is on my screen? Is it killing it?
hey quick question for modding the Pendulum 20. if you're using graphite instead of solder do you sort of just draw between the connection? like how does that work?
I had a lot of trouble using that method, and never had it work personally. People I know that have done it successfully would firmly scribble between the connections using a mechanical pencil.
On the newest version is there a way you can bring a digimon back from the dead? Or do you have to restart the whole thing
On the Pendulums and Digital Monster X, you can save a dying Digimon, but once it dies you cannot bring it back, you can only start a new egg. Previously unlocked content will remain unlocked
Why i still dont get my sp encounter?i already roll 7 and wait for 1 hour and there's nothing happen
When having to battle to get next evolution are linked battles with another device taken into account or just battles on the device itself?
All battles count! So Single, Tag, Colosseum and Connection, doesn't matter what type, it will work.
any chances bandai release the pendulum series on the west?

battery connection might not be tight, try adding a piece of paper in-between the back plate and the battery
I have the V-Pet 20th version and I’m at MetalGreymon, however I’ve already had 3 care mistakes, can it still digivolve into BlitzGreymon or am I screwed?

Is it normal for the DMX ver 2 reds gold x to wore/fade off? I noticed your gold X on your ver.2 red looks exactly like mine now after having it for 3 weeks.
It sadly is, and once it happens there doesn't seem to be a good way to reverse it. It's the only device I've had that problem with, but some people have used clearcoat on the shell to prevent it in the first place, not that that helps you much now of course sadly.
On the DmX, What happens if you forget to back up a digimon and hatch another, moving your current one back to the library.. is there a way to get this back to nuture it again?
You cannot hatch a new Digimon unless your current Digimon dies or is out into backup, so that sort of situation wouldn't be possible.
Oh.. I was wondering why my herrismon was only in the library when the damemon appeared. It evolved!!! Duh!

I might be late, but in digimon 20th, does frequently overfeeding our digimon kills it in Ultimate stage? Or make it sick? Sometimes my digimon die suddenly..
Nope! Feed it as much as you like, the only thing it does is makes your Digimon weaker and more likely to get injured after battle if it's at 99 for weight.
so.... if I get the Purple and red X V-pet, would my digimon Partner/pet be Random or be Beelzemon as seen on the box?
You Digimon will evolve based on how you raise it, and each time can be different! There is no randomness involved with evolution, it's just a matter of taking care of its needs, training it and leveling it up.
So I have learned how to send a Digimon to another device but have no idea how to add it to my team, it seems it’s just in my stock tab. Any advice would be very much appreciated
For Copymon, they just remain in Stock until you choose to go a tag battle. You can't take them out to raise them, instead when you choose to do a Tag Battle they will just appear as an option when it asks you what you want to use for the Right Digimon.
Could somebody tell me of getting a digi mon off of Amazon is a good idea
Depends on which one. If you are looking at the Digital Monster Ver.20th (Called Digimon Original on Amazon), then that's a great place to get it.
If I defeat the special encounter for Lord Knightmon X with Diablomon will that requirement be filled even after I back up Diablomon and start a new digimon from an egg or will I have to defeat the encounter again with Craniumon to get Lord Knightmon?
You only have to clear the requirement once, so the evolution will remain available for all future runs.

You probably already figured this out, but Baby I Digimon can't be backed up. Once it evolves to Baby II, it can then be backed up to return your other Digimon.
I have had my vpet since I got Brilliant Diamond and just started on it. I wanted to ask this

Yep! You can hatch each egg an unlimited number of times.

@@humulomon next question. Since overfeeding makes your digimon weaker, how else does feeding your digimon effect their battle performance?
@@Friendly_Neigborhood_Astolfo Overfeeding itself does not affect battle performance, just being at 99 for weight will do that. Otherwise, feeding has no effect on battles.
I just got lucky to roll 7 dice today but i lose against Lucemon X because my digimon just evolve to ultimate which means lv.1
I want to ask if there will be encounter again or i must reroll once again?
It's hard to say, but most encounters happen in the morning. To avoid rerolling. Just change you clock to 6:59 and let your Digimon wake up again. You'll have the same roll, but the random encounter will be more likely to happen again.

Regarding the hacked pen20 silver black, if I could get my hand on one and follow your guide with success with all 19 eggs unlocked in one single device; is it possible to get 100% database as yours without the help of any other device?

It's ALMOST possible. The Lala egg does require a connection to unlock, so that would be 6 Digimon that would remain unobtainable, but if you can make/acquire a D-Com you'd be able to spoof the required connection for MUCH cheaper. After that point, yes, every Digimon would be perfectly obtainable.
humulos, may I ask another question regarding the prep works before hacking pen20 (Specifically the Single/Tag battle eggs)
Let's say I start with silver black.
Does it mean;
As a prep work before modding, I have to win 100S/100T battles to get the first 2 eggs and replay again until reaching stage 99S/T;
Then after modding, finish stage 100S/T to get the last 2 eggs?
It seems that both battles run in loop, so I'm confused where to stop.

The Pen20 is kind in that regard, once you beat battle 100, you remain at battle 100 until you choose the start over, so you do not need to go through the 10p battles again to get back up there. The requirement is only beating the 100th battle, so just don't choose the option to start over!
Hello Humulomon. How did you change the language to full English? I want to buy Pendulum 20th and Digital Monster X but i don't understand Japanese.
It requires opening the device and soldering, but that only works on the Pen20. Both the Pen20 and DMX are entirely in English for the menus, so you do not need to know Japanese to play them. Only the Digimon names are in Japanese

Does 24 hour in DM 20th means 24 hour in real life?or it stop when digimon sleeps?
The 24 hours only count when it's awake

so when it comes to care mistakes, it doesn't matter if the alarm sounds, as long as you take care of it before the symbol turns off?
and if this is true, i take it that means you could let all their hearts drain and let their room fill with poop but as long as you fix all those problems when they complain, it wont count against you?
i just want to know the limitations in the case of being busy with something else and how long you can leave them alone without using the nap/freeze function
Right, the care mistake isn't counted until the call light turns off, the beep itself is not a mistake. Note though that poop does not count as a care mistake regardless.

I have the 20th edition one with the keyhole on it and I have a question. If you wouldn’t mind because I can’t find a answer. How do I know that my digimon is not going to evolve into something or if I have made a mistake??
I was reading online that mistake wise you can’t make to many trying to go from champion to ultimate. But does that apply when the maid takes happen before hand or all together?
Care mistakes don't matter at all as a Champion, so don't worry about that. Only thing that matters is that you get your 15 battles and almost all of them victories. You'll know your Digimon has failed evolution if it starts losing hunger and strength hearts faster.
Are you able to save a digimon on the Version 20th wave 2? Like the X or Pendlum?
While you can't backup a Digimon you raise, you can receive a Copymon from another device to use in Tag Battles.
@@humulomon my bad. I worded it wrong. Meant save as in Save the Digimon from Dying like doing the shakes or clicking the buttons X times
Ah! Gotcha, unfortunately there is no way to save a dying Digimon on any of the Digital Monster Ver.20th devices
Curious, does your data still save on the pendulum 20th even if your battery dies?
Yep! Though you should always hit the reset button before and after changing a battery. You will be given the option to save or load after pressing the button. If you don't plan on using the device for a few weeks, it's a good idea to remove the battery until you are ready to use it again

How do you get your dp up?
Feeding 4 pills will increase it by one, or sleeping/freezing them for 3 consecutive hours.
So what time do my digimon go to sleep?
Depends on the specific Digimon. If you click on that Digimon in the guide, you will see its sleep time at the bottom of its card

Also be careful with opening the device because the audio wires pop out quite easily and require to be resoldered if they pop out
Do these devices break easily? Im planning on buying one but im afraid it may break easily and my money would go to waste
While I haven't tested this extensively, the answer is no in my experience. I've had some experience a minor fall of around 5 feet or so with nothing more than a scuff to show for it, the device itself still works perfectly. Even my incredibly old, beaten and bruised original pet still works well after 20 years. Just in case though, I highly recommend getting an earbud case to keep them in, just so that they are kept as safe as possible.

@@pooman458 Not significantly, especially if you aren't going crazy on them. The number of presses required is never that high for the amount of time you are given, so you don't need to mash that hard.

Get the 20th anniversary from aanywhere but used ebay copies. They should cost around 20$ instead of over 100, last time I checked.
A little late, but FYI remaining stock of these are currently on clearance at Target here in the states. I got a ver.20th for around $7 a couple days ago at Target.
UGHHHHH I KEEP LOSING!!!! IM TRYNA DIGIVOLVE MY COREDRAMON BUT I KEEP LOSING THE FIGHTS (you have to win 12-15 battles so it can digivolve)
Try just fighting the first battle in the colosseum over an over! That will still count.

No joke but my greymon on my digimon 20th started dieing as soon as you started talking about how to kill you digimon the fastest, I guess it's to say that DX.
Accidentally break the loudspeaker wires during Pen20 modding process, so there's no sound atm.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Just about any replacement wires should do the trick. Glue them to the appropriate points on the speaker and the board and you should be good.
