The viper v2 release puts into perspective how iconic the GPX truly is. Logitech managed this back in 2020 and other companies are just now catching up. I got both the viper v2 and the GPX superlight and RMA'd the viper. Side play was bothering me, just by pressing the RMB it would hit against the left wall of the indent (and make weird sounds). I could also actuate the side buttons by squeezing the mouse. Sad because I really like the shape but don't want to pay top money for a mouse that has this kind of build quality. Plus the GPX cost 100 EUR and the viper v2 160 EUR.
Yep, it's really just on our own preference of our hands I already tried gripping Viper Ultimate and GPX then I came to my own conclusion. I usually use claw grip and my fingers are not too long. It seems that my hands prefers the high back hump from the GPX so that my palm can rest in that hump more. When I held the Viper Ultimate, it seems that the mouse is too long for my hand (the length from front to back) and it's more flat? and I feel odd using claw grip on the Viper Ultimate. That's why I bought Logitech G Pro X Superlight and even with the release of the Viper v2 Pro, I will just stick on my G Pro X Superlight. P.S. I'm about to mod the hell out of this mouse of mine. Goated for bringing up the education discount. I knew about it and I'm pretty sure Logitech has one too through another company, but I always thought it would be nice for reviewers to mention it.
I like my superlight, but i can't really claw grip it like i would normally do with other mice because it is far bulkier. i decided to try the viper v2 pro and it's a much more fitting shape for my hand size and allows me to claw grip it very comfortably. nothing off the superlight though, it's a fantastic mouse, and the two are equally comparable outside of that preference.
My Logitech G Pro broke after I accidentally threw it off the desk because I was taking my cereals and then stopped working, prob the worst mouse u should ever buy if it breaks after he touches the ground with a little bit of force.

I just bought a pink G PRO X Superlight and got some new arc 1 skates and the glass ones for $12 off, and some BTL grip tape I believe, I used your 10% off code too. Since I had a student ID from ten years ago at my local technical college I was able to get 30% off my superlight from the logitech website, ensuring I get a good model with proper switches too.
Please allow me to rephrase this comment in order not to irritate certain Logitech fan: For your information "loads of" users in Taiwan have had double click issues in less than a year of usage. I gifted one to my friend and it double clicks after 6 months (btw his old GPW double clicked in 1 year as well). Here in Taiwan we thank Logitech for teaching us how to change switches by ourselves and we praise Logitech for sending a new unit when you contact them for RMA (Update: It seems they cancelled free replacement so buy 1 get 1 fee is gone). This may "most likely" be caused by the terrible humidity and the same reason made the coating slippery, especially if you have a sweaty or greasy hand. But nevertheless GPXS is still popular here lol.
I am from Taiwan, I have 2 GPX, one more than one year and one for 5 month, none of them double clicked, so I am very lucky or this 8/10 is just some BS to say to exaggerate the issue, if you want to post something online, speically like 8 out of 10 had what, you better have the data to back it up, specially if you are a content creator yourself.
Here in Brazil is really out of bounds for most people. Even 150 usd is really expensive for us. I am thinking in getting one next month in the US, but 150 usd is making think 100 times if i really should and need one as i already have one RVU...
Viper Ultimate > Viper v2 Pro Same price, just without a charging dock (if you want that, cuz personally im a huge fan of just putting my mouse on the dock when going somewhere instead of plugging it in), no left hand support on the v2 Pro, the ultimate has side buttons on the right side aswell, The rest, i cant talk about since I dont own a v2 Pro, but I don't think it would make a huge difference, comes down to preference and yes, I know this is a video about the Razer Viper v2 Pro vs the Logitech GPX, but I still wanted to put this opinion out there :)
I have the viper v1 mouse for around 3 month now. Didn’t really liked it that much so I’m not going to buy the viper v2. Bought the gpx couple days ago and have tested the gpx at a family member place for a couple mins back when I bought the viper v1 and I fell in love with the gpx. Very light and smooth. Didn’t like the viper v1 clicks and scroll. And sometimes it would give me double clicks from time to time so that’s why I’m switching to gpx.
Ps. if you are doing quick flicks, the Viper is much better for flick shots. I have used a camera to track my mouse movements in apex and calculated that I am maxing out the acceleration of both mice, but my shots are far more accurate with the viper. I have to go slower with the logitech All I want is razer to adopt the G pro's shape
Hey Boardzy, you should do a video about the nootropics you take. I’ve heard a lot about Alpha GPC from /r/nootropics and I’d love to hear your experience in terms of gaming/maybe a bit of life.

There seems to be some advantages to the v2 pro when it comes to competitive shooters like valorant or cs go, especially if you use a claw grip. But I personally prefer the gpx as I like the shape better and I can't stand the way the v2 pro looks, it has this sharp gamery look that razer seems to use on all their products.

I use the Superlight, and shape kinda bothers me. I tried the Viper in a Best Buy and I liked the shape, but the Superlight was lighter, so I went with that. The GPX is really high quality, but the shape is not for me.
Hi, its any dif between GPX black, white and magenta ? i mean as construction perspective i heard last batch of gpx magenta is better from that perspective compared whit black and white, is that tru ? :D btw u do an amazing job whit those reviews BIG up !
Had the original VU and now I use a Superlight. Loving it for hip fire where I improved greatly. But for ADS, the Viper shape is just better IMO. I have more control and my little finger is in a stable position the whole time (palm grip). On the Superlight I never know a stable position where it doesn't bother me in game. Between the objectively better side buttons and the prefered personal taste, I'm thinking of grabbing this.
I have used the original viper in the past and as someone with smallish hands I didn't really find the shape comfortable so I decided to buy the GPX since it was on sale.
So currently which mouse do u recommend to purchase wireless and non wireless and why? (FINGERTIP user) [more of a aggresive fingertip ( fingertip + claw ) ] The Viper Ultimate hits the back of my palm Hand Length: 17.6 & Hand Width: 9.7
only complaint with my superlight is the side buttons, went from a deathadder v2 that lasted 4 years to a 130$ mouse... i expected better side buttons than my middle of the road razer mouse
Hello. Now I am faced with a choice of what to change my Logitech G PRO Wireless to! Whether on the Logitech G PRO X Superlight, or on the Razer Viper v2 Pro! I play competitive shooters. The size of the palm is 9-9.5 cm wide and long from the beginning of the wrist to the end of the thumb 20 cm. I can’t try the Razer Viper v2 Pro, no matter how sorry, but the shape of the Logitech G PRO Superlight is similar to my G PRO! And I don't know how to choose! Technologically, Razer is clearly better, as the newest sensor and new optical switches. What should I do?
Looking for a mouse for productivity and casual gaming, how is the superlight for just normal productivity vs like logitech m720 which weighs 135 grams, isn’t a lighter mouse better for productivity tbh? Just wondering thanks
Glad you will main the Razer Viper v2. I wanna know if you can feel a difference between the weight of the Razer Viper v2 vs the incoming End Gear XM2w xd
Personally I would love to consider the Viper V2 Pro or really any Razer mouse but the sentiment I see commonly about their software really turns me off. Just not something I'm worth risking if the software sucks and the mouse costs that much.
The only annoying thing is that they try to force installation on you every time you plug the mouse in. As long as you dont download addons like razer cortex the base synapse is fine
Hey man I have a quick question, We’re I live there is a sale on the Logitech G pro X so it costs 120$ and they don’t have the viper v2 pro so should I buy the Logitech?
Well at this price point, shape matters the most, normal gamers won't notice the difference between the sensors. So just choose the more comfy option according to your hand size and grip style.
I think you should pay attention to scroll wheel more. The super lights is so bad. It's a killer for cs. I've had 2 and both will make me jump randomly

The v2 is absolutely amazing imo. I’ve always like the ultimate and the v2 is just better in every aspect. Still go between the superlight and v2 tho because superlight is just goated
@Kice Dzingov I’ve had my razer longer then my gpx and never had an issue so probs just bad luck aye. I prefer the v2 over the gpx ngl, feels smoother and more responsive
@Kice Dzingov 80fps??? Tf does that even mean 😂😂
Would u recommend using the grip tape provided with the v2? I already have them installed but i was contemplating taking them off but if i do, i cant put them back on so is it better to leave them on or take them off?
@@Soji.in4k personally I’ve never tried them. I don’t like grip tape, I’ve tried a few different ones and hated them all. I prefer just the raw mouse feeling
@Kice Dzingov shut up cringe. You’re lying
Boardzy, how long does a superlight works fine before you buy another?
I got both the viper v2 and the GPX superlight and RMA'd the viper.
Side play was bothering me, just by pressing the RMB it would hit against the left wall of the indent (and make weird sounds). I could also actuate the side buttons by squeezing the mouse.
Sad because I really like the shape but don't want to pay top money for a mouse that has this kind of build quality.
Plus the GPX cost 100 EUR and the viper v2 160 EUR.
Yep, it's really just on our own preference of our hands
I already tried gripping Viper Ultimate and GPX then I came to my own conclusion.
Gonna switch the stock mouse encoder for a TTC Yellow Core and the mouse switches for Kailh GM 8.0
Honestly I'm surprised by the number of people who mod their mouse...like why? It already has so little components...
@@benten1443 I'm assuming it's the same for people who mod their keyboards, once they feel how much better they can make it feel you can never go back.
ive used my super light for 8 month and ive had my v2 for 2 days and its sm better
Which to buy from these 2/?> boardzy?? Razer Viper v2 Pro VS Logitech G Pro X?
Had 2 g pro superlights but both developed scroll issues unfortunately. I tried v2 pro and I can’t believe it actually made my headshot % better in Valorant and CS2
So the superlight is better is better for bigger hand?
@@Internautao generally i'd say both are fine if you have big hands, but generally yes
My Logitech G Pro broke after I accidentally threw it off the desk because I was taking my cereals and then stopped working, prob the worst mouse u should ever buy if it breaks after he touches the ground with a little bit of force.
imo the Viper V2 is much better then the gpx the weight feels more balanced the sensor is much much better then the gpx’s might be cuz my gpxs experinces werent good ive had 2 both had pretty mushy buttons and the left click sounded higher pitched then the right click but maybe i just got 2 duds
I love the v2 and after a week or so I added side grips and it's almost perfect now. Using it on an Odin Infinity.
@Daniel Wang u get grips along with the mouse
Is the shape good for claw grip, or does the superlight have a better shape?
Please allow me to rephrase this comment in order not to irritate certain Logitech fan:
For your information "loads of" users in Taiwan have had double click issues in less than a year of usage.
Thx for the info, also i agree it probably is due to the high humidity
@@boardzy Love your content, just so you know some of my audiences are also your fans. Keep on the good work :)
I am from Taiwan, I have 2 GPX, one more than one year and one for 5 month, none of them double clicked, so I am very lucky or this 8/10 is just some BS to say to exaggerate the issue, if you want to post something online, speically like 8 out of 10 had what, you better have the data to back it up, specially if you are a content creator yourself.
i guess depend on air condition. Mine, malaysia 1 yr & 3 month still goin strong no issue
@@ZZZZZZZTUBE Dude I am simply telling what I got from my small community and personal experience, but I respect your opinion.
My side buttons on the razer viper v2 pro are a little bit wobbly how can I prevent that
Wow that’s great you also have big hands like me. Have you tried bigger mouses like the Zowie ec1 C for big hands like ours ?
the only problem for the v2 pro is that here in br it's like 250 usd, ima buy one for the review but that price is so underwhelming :(
Here in Brazil is really out of bounds for most people. Even 150 usd is really expensive for us. I am thinking in getting one next month in the US, but 150 usd is making think 100 times if i really should and need one as i already have one RVU...
@@MrCauebc especially when the gpx constantly drops to 110 usd
Viper Ultimate > Viper v2 Pro
Same price, just without a charging dock (if you want that, cuz personally im a huge fan of just putting my mouse on the dock when going somewhere instead of plugging it in), no left hand support on the v2 Pro, the ultimate has side buttons on the right side aswell, The rest, i cant talk about since I dont own a v2 Pro, but I don't think it would make a huge difference, comes down to preference
and yes, I know this is a video about the Razer Viper v2 Pro vs the Logitech GPX, but I still wanted to put this opinion out there :)
Boardzy, out of topic but what are those supplements in your background?
Ps. if you are doing quick flicks, the Viper is much better for flick shots.
I have used a camera to track my mouse movements in apex and calculated that I am maxing out the acceleration of both mice, but my shots are far more accurate with the viper. I have to go slower with the logitech
All I want is razer to adopt the G pro's shape
Amazing video Boardzy, i love your work
Hey Boardzy, you should do a video about the nootropics you take. I’ve heard a lot about Alpha GPC from /r/nootropics and I’d love to hear your experience in terms of gaming/maybe a bit of life.
feel like id prefer the viper shape over the gpx as i own and main the gpx currently and im buying the viper v2 pro because my superlights coating is like shining rn likely cause i got sweaty palms or smthn but i feel like the viper is better imo and i pray to god i dont regret spending money on it
There seems to be some advantages to the v2 pro when it comes to competitive shooters like valorant or cs go, especially if you use a claw grip. But I personally prefer the gpx as I like the shape better and I can't stand the way the v2 pro looks, it has this sharp gamery look that razer seems to use on all their products.
It is a gaming mouse why would not not have a game look lol the Logitech mouse looks super plain in my opinion the top of it looks so narrow I hate it lls
@@deanhollandjr1987 idk why bro is complaining about looks like it’s not going to be under his hand and the fact that’ll he be staring at his screen while using it
I think the mouse shape is supposed to resemble a viper snake
I'm talking about my opinion on what mouse I prefer and why, I'm not complaining about anything, it's all preference at the end of the day and obviously the viper sells well so lots of people like the way it looks. Y'all are taking what I said to seriously
I think the gpw x is good when doing slow pace games. Well all Logitech mice if I’m being honest and razer mice for fast paced games like Valorant, Apex, CSGO, fortnite, roblox
i have a model o and i am in need for a new mouse, and I was wondering what you would recomend for me. I have only had a model o for two years and durability is very important. I have big hands too btw. What mouse would you recomend for me?
Okay so I'm 10 seconds in and I did a prayer circle for the Superlight hopefully it comes out on top because it's the mouse of god himself
I’ll pour one out for u brother 🫡
GPX!! i struggled with the end game and the superlight buttt i ALWAYS end up with the gpx in my palm. its just perfection.
I use the Superlight, and shape kinda bothers me. I tried the Viper in a Best Buy and I liked the shape, but the Superlight was lighter, so I went with that. The GPX is really high quality, but the shape is not for me.
Tape it to your hand every night when you go to sleep. Give it about 6 months and your hand will form to the shape
@@RequiemOfSolo ight bet
same thing but the razer felt too small imo
Shape is king
Boardzy, do you have any plans on reviewing the razer basalisk?
Do it. I was in the same boat and It’s amazing.
Dude. Try toggle aim.
Are you honestly for real with this?
@@nexxusty don’t like toggle. I am for real with this.
@@nexxusty fuck toggle aim.
I have used the original viper in the past and as someone with smallish hands I didn't really find the shape comfortable so I decided to buy the GPX since it was on sale.
So currently which mouse do u recommend to purchase wireless and non wireless and why? (FINGERTIP user) [more of a aggresive fingertip ( fingertip + claw ) ]
The Viper Ultimate hits the back of my palm Hand Length: 17.6 & Hand Width: 9.7
Yessir been looking for a comparison
13:54 maybe the sensitivty difference is due to the placement of the sensor being further / nearer relative to your palm's base ?
Hey Mate, how come the side buttons on your gpx are like a different color? Normally they should be in pink too, no?
only complaint with my superlight is the side buttons, went from a deathadder v2 that lasted 4 years to a 130$ mouse... i expected better side buttons than my middle of the road razer mouse
what are your thoughts on the model o pro? would u bust out a based review soon.
in Croatia GPX is 114$ currently on sale while V2 Pro is 190$
Boardzy what mods would u suggest on the razer viper v2?
Looking for a mouse for productivity and casual gaming, how is the superlight for just normal productivity vs like logitech m720 which weighs 135 grams, isn’t a lighter mouse better for productivity tbh? Just wondering thanks
How would you compare the viper to the superlight 2 ?
which would you guys suggest switching to ive been using a model o for a couple years now but im looking at these two and i just dont even know
How does the software compare though? Logitech vs razer? I'm a big fan of editable macros, and automatic profile switching.
logitech ofc
started w razer mice years ago but once i got into logitech i havent had any other mice this is the first time im actually torn between these 2

Glad you will main the Razer Viper v2. I wanna know if you can feel a difference between the weight of the Razer Viper v2 vs the incoming End Gear XM2w xd
I bought a GPROX and returned it right away. It was not for me. The side buttons felt really mushy. Came straight back do my Model D- Wireless.
Personally I would love to consider the Viper V2 Pro or really any Razer mouse but the sentiment I see commonly about their software really turns me off. Just not something I'm worth risking if the software sucks and the mouse costs that much.
Same i think the v2 pro is better but the razer synapse suck compared to G hub
The only annoying thing is that they try to force installation on you every time you plug the mouse in. As long as you dont download addons like razer cortex the base synapse is fine
You set the dpi once then delete the software lol
Hey man I have a quick question, We’re I live there is a sale on the Logitech G pro X so it costs 120$ and they don’t have the viper v2 pro so should I buy the Logitech?
A real good reveiw! ty.
thank you so much for making this
Any idea when you might be able to review the new Glorious Model O PRO?
try both mice on a mirror and a towel and see which one performs better...to test the sensos
Good review. Im taking v2 pro but im hoping for vpm v2.. btw whats his keyboard on white caps?
Apex pro tkl
Well at this price point, shape matters the most, normal gamers won't notice the difference between the sensors. So just choose the more comfy option according to your hand size and grip style.
what is the mousepad in the thumbnail?
if its unreleased, when is there going to be a review?
Superlight is still better I prefer how mouse 1&2 are on top and not open on the sides like the V2Pro my grip gets pinched on the viper.
My viper v2 just started jumping while scrolling. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what did you do about it?
Do you think the harder to press main clicks on the v2 pro is a deal breaker?
I think you should pay attention to scroll wheel more. The super lights is so bad. It's a killer for cs. I've had 2 and both will make me jump randomly
What skates/feets should I get for Superlight ? ( to use with Artisan Hien )
you still enjoying the infiinty-hump for the SL12?
Hey boardzy what do you think about the hystar mousepad cause its the only option available here. I play on low sens mainly first person shooter (Warzone , CS:GO , Apex)
For all of you who can't be bothered to watch the video, he likes the Viper V2 Pro more
please make a comparison with Orochi v2 pro, because I am planning to get this mice and I've used orochi v2 for a long time now
Thoughts on Ninjutso Katana Superlight?
I just noticed... did you take the side buttons from the shroud edition g pro and put them in the superlight bc of the buttons better profile sizes?
Yo boardzy I've not been following mousepads lately, I've been maining the Shidenkai for a couple years now and now that they aren't producing them anymore I'm not sure what pad to get... I'm not really keen on the skypad and I've not seen many good reviews on the Glorious Ice. Do you know of any other glass coated pads similar to the Shidenkai? Cheers bro
How can you be so sure the Omron's in the Superlight won't have double click? I love my G-Pro wireless but I can't STAND the double click and click hold. Sometimes it acts like I haven't let go. I'd like to try the next one but I'm worried about that.
