This was the whole reason he lost his job at SNL. The producer was friends with OJ and told Norm to stop...so he doubled down. Norm is the definition of not giving a single F*CK about anything.

Norm being fired for OJ jokes is why most people believe he was fired. I think Norm even insinuated it was the reason. But I truly believe Norm was fired because of The Clinton jokes. Who was OJ? He had no power. Norm on prime time television calling Hillary "The First Bltch" would get him in more heat compared to f*cking with OJ. Everyone and their mother were doing OJ jokes at the time. Even if Don Ohlmeyer were friends with OJ, it would be a bad business move to fire one of the top guys from the show. Either way it's probably a combination of a few reasons Norm was fired.

@Vidkid I thought O.J. was guilty of Manslaughter. I believe that he flipped out and killed them. Manslaughter was easier to prove. They did not prove murder. So acquittal was the correct call. If I were on the jury I would gave acquitted him too, based on the evidence.

As a black man I am glad I didn’t grow up in a delusional household that supported him just because he looks like me.
My parents never bought into him being innocent even tho according to them (since I was a kid) they were ridiculed by our neighbors for not supporting OJ.
And even my friends now who had parents who were racist and only supported him cause he is black, they STILL argue with me and say he was innocent.
I get it. We were young back then and the riots happened not long before. Snd I’m black. So I get that racial tensions were high.
But as an adult now it almost seems insane that my friends family supported him. So I love my parents for not brainwashing me.
Cause by now it should just be an objective truth that he was guilty and I feel bad for similar aged friends who still believe him because their parents. I love my people. And racism is real. But OJ did commit murder. So many other black men have been falsley accused and I wish our people had supported them rather than him. He wasn’t even a staple of the community.

Good on your parents, but in a very weird twisted way that trial was a step towards RACIAL equality. OJ getting off mostly because he was a rich celebrity, giving him equal treatment to rich white celebrities.
I was a teenager living in a backwoods country ass little town when this happened, but it did really open my eyes to a lot of the problems in this world. I got to know what was really in my neighbors and some of my families hearts, not much has changed unfortunately.

I remember these skits and how ruthless Norm was. Legendary humor and in-your-face zero Fs given. My dad and brothers loved Norm’s humor and we even ended up buying a board game called “Squeeze the Juice”.
