There must also a be a sensitization campaign about the dangers of working as a maid in countries such as Egypt, or Middle East in particular. It's very sad indeed. She likely had a bad plan for her all along! She did not want this woman to think she escaped and outsmarted her in the situation when she left. She begged her to come back so she could eventually do this and make her “pay” eventually. On top of her probably worrying she would tell the husband eventually that she was drugging him.
