Apprentiships are an amazing resource. BNFL instrument mechanic at 16, always loved a lathe and mill. the porsche 928 has the curves that dio it for me.
Great day out - Hats off to Heritage Skills Academy for keeping the "old" skills going - more power to their elbow! Thanks for being there and showing.
Wow, I think thats one of my favourite videos of yours. What a great event. Loved the filming and music. Dan is amazing at his job. Thank you for sharing your day with us.
Wonderful video and some realy nice shots there. Bicester Heritage seems to be the place to go to. If I only have lived in Brittain that is... I hope I can bring my old Aston over there some day in a near future and join you nice people at some event liike this. Cheers from Sweden!!
Thank you, Dom, Jon, and Dan. Was introduced to your channel through the Porshe videos and have been going through most of everything else. Hello from Ontario, Canada.
Thanks Dan, not your average car shots and editing. I think my favourite is the Triumph with the 'fried egg' bonnet Dom, for all the posh cars you looked at there was such a huge sigh when you saw the Landy and a regretful 'sold mine . . ' .
Thanks Dom, although I was there at Bicester last Sunday, your video captured very well the Bicester Scramble experience. It also allowed me to see some cars I didn’t get to see. Great, keep them coming.
Until I saw your previous Scramble video I didn't know about it - suffice to say we were there last week, a great day out, fantastic cars and a real sense of history and nostalgia . . . and we saw a bloke with a beard wandering around :-)
Can we have a complete day at Bicester please Dom, so interesting. I want one of everything but the green Maser has always been one of my "lusting after" motors. I can see why you like the Lotus, lots of Ranalah work involved!!! Great work being done by the Bicester Heritage team👍🏻👍🏻
Great to see old school craftsmanship being taught and passed down to a new generation. That Lotus is fantastic as are the Gen 1 289 Mustangs Fastbacks and The 350 SS Camaro. As for me one of the GT 40’s would do very nice. But that 356 you drooled on was sweet as were the 911 GT3 (2)’s. Fact is I wouldn’t kick anyone of them out of my garage, but I wouldn’t have a house or garage in order to own one.
Fun show you went to! I owned a 1973 Mustang in high school, not having power steering or brakes was a little rough sometimes, but it was a pretty yellow.
I really REALLY must visit Bicester Heritage. Dom I am with you regarding sellers regret, in my case a 1966 Mustang ex drag race car, it's replacement a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and last my 850 Mk3 Norton Commando.
Nice to meet you on the day, Dom. The video (great work, Dan!) captures the day really well. What's the old single seater up on the track at 17:14 into the video?
what a fantastic day you had at Bister, all those lovely cars, and what about the old Porche!! prehaps you will take yours there when it's done, what year???😂👍
Don't worry Dom, you'll have no problems fitting yourself into a classic Mini, I'm 6'6" and have done a number of classic rallies in them, their surprisingly roomy for such a small car, way more room than in a midget 😁. Next time you're at a show, just blah your way into one and you'll see what I mean 👍
Hi Dom, I have a 1972 Land Rover 109 2.6 Safari for sale, needs refurbishment although I did a partial refurbishment in 2004. Would love to see you or some of the heritage boys bring her back to glory. Let me know if you're interested. Great episode as usual.
Great video Dom and Dan, your lost without Dan, Dom when it comes to filming, has visiting this place got your juices going to get on with your Porsche Dom ?, 👍👍.
Hi Dom, So, Dan wants a Bacon Butty! What on earth is a Bacon Butty?. Never heard of them here in Aus! Obviously a delicacy in the UK!!! Another great video, well done. A Fan from Aus.
What a wonderful place to be! And run by people that have the right attitude to bring young people into the real motor car world, although quite how your camera man can see anything but bling in those awful American things he likes is quite beyond my comprehension, an excellent video, many thanks for giving us this inside view! Chris B.
Was that a Ford with the numberplate ETA 808? I wondered if it was for 1808 or 2808 0 to 50😂. Your Porch will be a much better car when it's finished 🎥 Your films of the restoration will add Thousands to its value 🤑.
Am I the only one who now watches these videos to see if anyone other than Dom is wearing jeans with cuffs? Is this just a Dom thing? It would come in handy with all the students I know building robots... I am sure the cuffs catch bits and bolts that they drop when working on their robots. Dom, is this a fashion thing? It hasn't arrived yet in Canada if it is.
I typically roll my pants up as well, but that’s because I have short legs and I don’t feel like hemming all of my jeans. 😂 It’s also just an old school 50’s feel when done right.

Chilled out Sunday after that video. Thank you to both of you.👍🇬🇧
Great day at Bicester Dom & Dan - Super video of all those cool cars 👌😊
Many thanks Dom, looks a great show. Well worth a visit.👍👍
Beautiful, thank you both. I love that Lotus too, soooooo sleek, but I would have someone to keep it shiny for me!
That looked like a cool day for you both at the show. Loads of goodies. You made my Sunday night. Cheers Dom
Your welcome!
Thanks Dan, not your average car shots and editing.

Hi Dom, What more can you say, Nice one, looks like you had a good day, All the best Brian 😃
I love Bicester. This was eye candy central. Fantastic coverage, incredible cars & such passion. Top job Dan too 🙌..!!

I’m so glad my previous video encouraged you to make it to this scramble!
Glad you had a good day
Fab vid, I wish I had known about heritage engineering when I was looking at careers 15 years ago.

Nice to meet you on the day, Dom.
The video (great work, Dan!) captures the day really well.
What's the old single seater up on the track at 17:14 into the video?
Thanks for taking us around the show. That Lotus was just shouting Ranalah, was it built by your friend who does the courses?
Good luck from Spain?
Fabulous, I’m there next month.
Do it!! You won’t regret it!
Just up the road from me.really need to visit this place
Excellent day out Dom very nice cars.
Hi. So interesting, a must visit. Thanks
Really enjoyed this. If i was 40 years younger i would have been at the front of the cue to take up that course .
Great vid Dom and Dan. Many thanks.
That Lotus at the end had some serious wheel work. 👍
So good isn’t it!

I think you were recognised as you went into the auto jumble. "Don't look now! It's that Dom bloke from the Repair Shop!"

I did!!

Are you filming the London - Brighton Historic Commercial Run on Sunday 12th May 2022 ?? Not sure if commercial vehicles are within your remit ?
No I’m not aware of that!
Oooooofff mint 911 yes please 👍🇬🇧🏆
Good choice
How tall are you Dom? I'm 6'1" and I had a mini for 8 years.
The Lotus is beautiful, but its American muscle for me too, owning a Mustang is a life goal I feel I will never achieve.

First comment yay, great video Dom ( I haven't watched it yet but I'm sure it is!)
Apprentice means free labour so no wonder they don't take more engineering and mechanics jobs.
No it doesn't. You're thinking of 'intern'. Apprentices get paid as well as being able to learn on the job.
