Telling her what to do in every single episode,yelling at her sometimes,not trusting her! Maybe you were too busy to see his heroic acts to catch these little things
@zosko1 I'm just guessing here, but you didn't watch it in English, did you? (and if you did, did it sound different to you than the subtitles might have portrayed?) I'm finding from some of the personal mail I've received,both Jack and Sawyer are portrayed and sound very different in each dubbed version, or through the interpretation of those writing the translated subtitles. Note, I'm happy to see foreign people writing in English.I'm positive your English is better than my :)

I'm not sure which language you watched it in, but if you're not American, you obviously missed the classic American "bad boy" archetype. Jack didn't regularly order Kate around in any fashion I ever considered disrespectful. I can only venture a guess things are very different in your home country than here in the States.

He's the bully in HS who insulted and beat up people in order to try to drag people down to his level.And Sawyer wasn't "confident," he was arrogant!More "Chet" from "Weird Science" than "Han Solo."Rooting for him is akin to rooting for Russell on Survivor.
