    Did they change the amount or type of padding on the strap? Thanks

    Good intro but would like to hear more of your opinions. What changes work better? What don’t? Is worth to go for 6? Or 5 with lower price?

      Nothing much has changed, mostly cosmetic. I like that they now give you the ability to strap larger items to the bag via external carry straps. The zippers on the 6L opens up more than the 5L. The 6L is bigger obviously but not too big. It depends on preference...price versus having the latest and greatest and a slightly bigger size. If you're carrying a DSLR, I say go for the 6L. If you're mirrorless, it can go either way.

      @@donalone Lol, I'm literally the same right now. The 3L might be ok for what I need, but the 5L at the same price and very similar external dimensions could be a good buy. But I've read some comments of people complaining about the strap on the 5L. It seems peak addressed those complaints with the V2. Also the 6L for $20 more...

      Ramon W Borges I bought old 20L just 1 month before they announced the new line. Gladly there is no major change but there should be some invisible, or not-easy-to-explain updates. E.g. I know the pads contacting your back will be worn out soon. They probably use a better material in new version but they don’t want to admit the design flaw from first generation. So I’ll still go for the newer one.

      @@donalone Yeah, I think that the 3L might be good enough for me. Would be cool if the new Midnight color was available on all slings.

    Is the 6L weather resistant? The website says nothing about it being weather resistant.

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I remember correctly, it is weather resistant. I know that the zippers are weatherproof UltraZips and the bags are durable water repellent (DWR) impregnated. - www.peakdesign.com/products/everyday-sling/?rfsn=1824615.713570

      "Featuring a durable nylon construction, the 6L Everyday Sling v2 is built to be weather resistant. To further protect its contents should the bag be placed on a wet surface, the bottom panel is waterproof."

    Just to be clear... are you saying the 6L holds an iPad Pro 11-inch or a 13" MacBook Air..?

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 6L holds up to the iPad Pro 11". The 10L can hold the 13" Macbook Air.

    I saw your 5L review years ago before deciding to get 1 and now I'm here watching your 6L review.
    I noticed the grab handle being moved from the top to the side and you mentioned 6L has shorter and smaller handle. Does it still work as a luggage passthrough?
    Does it fit ipad pro 11 with smart keyboard folio or just the ipad pro 11 itself?

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. The luggage pass-through is only on the 10L. 6L is too narrow. The 6L will hold a 11" iPad. It may hold the folio but I'm not 100% sure as I do not own either of them.

    Can 6L push into PD Travel bag (backpack) ?

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 6L does fit into the PD Travel Bag with a medium camera cube. However, the height of the 6L sticks up a just slightly. As you can see from my comparison at 7:50, you can see the height difference.

    Can a Sony a7 mirrorless with tamron 28-70 attached and a sony 85 .18 lens fit????

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be a tight fit with the 28-70 attached. Unfortunately, I do not own that gear so I can not confirm. I'm only going by the pictures of the gear.

    Can the 6L and/or the 5L flatten down for storage and travel? Such as packing them into a suitcase?

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can flatten them down for storage while traveling. You will just have to move/take off the Flexfold dividers.

    Pretty misleading video title. If you're going to do a comparison, you gotta have the other bags.

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Features are all the same with the 6L and 10L with the exception of size. 3L is smaller and has only 1 flexfold divider

    Great review! Can you fit a Surface Pro 4 in the tablet slot?

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      6L can hold up to 10" tablet and 10L can hold up to 13" tablet. So if you're trying to carry your Surface Pro 4, it would have to be the 10L.

    can you tell if the 3L will fit 5d mark 4 with 35mm lens all together or no

    • @1KINDPhotography
      @1KINDPhotography  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be able to hold your 5D4 and 35mm. The internal dimensions are 19.8cm x 8.9cm x 6.4cm (7.8" x 3.5" x 2.5")

    Thanks for the video - You should consider changing the title so that it calls out that this is about the 6L.
