In memory of my Mother from Mexico, our Cherokee grandmother (Trail of Tears), her Oklahoma schooner husband who settled Munday, TX, we support this mission.
It is only small but we love donating to St Joseph's. Seeing and hearing this video makes us even happier. Our 6 & 8 year old boys both send there blessings to all these children. Please encourage the boy's to grow there hair long again and be proud of their braids . My boys have never had their hair cut and we encourage that freedom to be themselves. Blessings to our extended family Mitakuye Oyasin xx

Hi Jackie! We teach our students their Native American traditions and how they closely correspond to the message of Christ's Gospel. St. Joseph’s has a Native American studies program to teach the children their traditional Lakota language, culture and traditions. Curriculum and daily routines include numerous cultural elements. Students can learn traditional Lakota dances and songs. St. Joseph’s also hosts an annual American Indian Day powwow, which is open to the public.
My dad donated to this school His name Is Albert Duarte Junior he passed away on July 16 2009 the last time he donated was in 2008 and St. Joseph Indian School Gave my dad a certificate of appreciation for Is donation
St. Joseph’s Indian School is not located on the reservation and doesn’t receive direct profit from casinos. We do receive gifts from some of the casinos in South Dakota and also from casinos in other states. Most casinos support their own tribes and reservations by building hospitals, clinics, homes and other necessities. Many help college students with scholarships to obtain a higher education.
I just received a beautiful package from St. Joseph's Indian School. It has a beautiful dream catcher, stickers, greeting cards and a adorable new pen. I was so touched by the generosity. I will be mailing out a donation this coming week. Is there any other way to help these beautiful children in addition to money donations?
Thank you so much for your kindness and support of the students. We do have a list of nonmonetary needs available on our website: www.stjo.org/nonmonetary. The ones that matter the most are the children. (Native American Lakota Proverb)
Looking good, guys.
Why aren’t the Indian casinos in the area donating money to help the local Indian children?
